A Place Between Light and Dark

Arrivied at the East of Cassylum's main castle, Minhyun and Woojin quickly brought Daehwi and Jinyoung into a room. Jinyoung was quite conscious when he saw the vampires rushing to take care of and prepare for him and Daehwi's needs. Jinyoung didn't care, his body is too tired to protest or fight. And a second later Jinyoung had fallen asleep again with Daehwi in his arms.

Meanwhile Guanlin takes Jihoon to their room. His red eyes slowly changed into brown as he looked at Jihoon.

"Don't do it again."

Jihoon looked at him in confused, and the vampire took him into his arms, covering him with his cloak.

"Don't disappear again. You don't know how I gone mad when they take you away."

"You know it's not my wish, they drugged me while they took me away."

"Did they hurt you?"

Jihoon shook his head and smiled,

"They are kind to me."

Guanlin rolled his eyes, like he would believe it. Jihoon can even say that the vampire guards at the main castle are good to him, eventhought they are eager to bite Jihoon. But no one, no one dared to touch Jihoon, except that person want to die in Guanlin's hand.

It's not a secret that Jihoon belongs to Guanlin so no one dares to disturb him, even though the vampires are really tempted to do so. Behind the fact that he is the only human in the vampire's castle, Jihoon offers his warmth and kindness. And as time goes by the vampires began to get used to his presence and even started to be friends with him.

"Sleep, you must be exhausted."

Guanlin pulled Jihoon down with him in bed and Jihoon closed his eyes quickly. He snored softly as he hugged Guanlin while Guanlin stroked him gently. Finally, he could breathe a sigh of relief after getting his beloved back.

Jinyoung slowly opened his eyes and found Jihoon and Daehwi looking at him happily. Jinyoung looked around him in confusion until Jihoon said that he is staying at the headquarters of The East Of Cassylum, and Jinyoung had passed out for two days. Jinyoung looked shocked while Daehwi smiled nervously. He didn't think that Jihoon seriously take him and Daehwi to vampire's nest.

"Calm down, the other vampires won't dare to bother you guys because you and Daehwi are under Guanlin's protection."

And that's how the vampire prince assigns Jinyoung and Daehwi as a guard and assistant to Jihoon. Jinyoung and Daehwi staying in the room where Jihoon used to sleep. Jisung said that it was Jihoon's room before the 16-year-old Guanlin asked Jihoon to move to his room until now.

The problem is that the vampire prince is obviously not liking Jinyoung. He was practically nice to Daehwi, but his reaction to Jinyoung was completely different.

Once Jinyoung opened the door to call Jihoon but what he saw almost shocked him. He saw Jihoon and the vampire prince laying together on bed, both of them not wearing any clothes, and Guanlin looked up. His eyes glowing in red. His mouth and fangs are full of blood. He hissed angrily at JInyoung but Jihoon pulled Guanlin to his body and Jinyoung closed the door quickly.

He runaway from the room and tried to forget the scene from his mind. And the next day Jisung told him that vampires actually don't like being watched while they're 'eating'. Sucking blood is a very privacy moment for the vampires and Jinyoung wants to hit his head against the wall. It just completed the reasons why the vampire prince didn't like him.
