After the drama that went down with the night class, I decided to head into town. Since I'm still new to the area, I thought it would be good to look around. I changed into a black tank top with a  leather jacket and black shorts that were 3 inches above my knees, and my favorite black knee-high boots. I then grabbed my purse and then headed to my car, which was parked at the back of the school. As I headed to the parking lot, I started to have this feeling like I was being watched. I started to pick up speed but the feeling would not leave me; before I knew it I was running to my car and trying to get my keys out only for them to drop under the car. Soon I was crying and curl up into a ball on the driver side of the door. "They finally found me, their gonna kill me or worse, they gonna drag me back to that hell hole," I thought. "I'm not going back to that hell hole!" I screamed before throwing a punch at the person or thing, but they caught it and pulled me into a hug to try and calm me down. "Yui, Yui, it's me, hey calm down!" said a familiar voice. I open my eyes, not realizing that I close them, to find a very worried Zero. He let me go once he saw that I calm down a little bit, and whip my face full of tears.

Without thinking, I pushed him back and whip the tears clean myself. "Why were you following me?" I asked in a harsh tone. He didn't say anything at first because I think he was still in shock that I pushed him and kind of yelled at him. Once he was out of shock, he replied with, "I was just checking to see if you were okay after what happened today. Also its also most dusk, you should be back at the dorm, not seeking out. " "Well I got bored, I have nothing better to do, so why not go into town and look around," I replied with an attitude. I finally found my keys, and open the driver side of the door and got in and was about to drive off but I was stopped by Zero who was now in front of my car. He then opened the car door and drag me out and drag me to a White Mustang that I was parked at the end of the lot under a tree. He then opens the passenger side and almost pushed me in, and went to the drives side, got in, and started the car and drove out of the parking lot and off the campus grounds. "Since I can't stop you, I have to go with you and make sure you don't cause trouble for our school," he said with a smirk. I tried to think of a combat but nothing came, so I just sat there in silence.

Our first stop was the beach, which was empty because of the autumn wind that had come. We got out of the car and soon started to walk after we took off our sock and shoes. We started to talk about school and little stuff here and there to pass time. Zero told me about all the places he traveled while taking the year off, and what he did. I talked about how I came to know about Cross Academy and how I made one friend, Lilly Wong, who's also a transfer student like me. About an hour of walking later, Zero and I stopped and sat down near a small cave. We sat there in silence until Zero asked, "Okay, I've waited long enough, what happen back there in the parking lot?" I became stiff and cold all of a sudden, and I couldn't breathe for a second, then zero started to rub my back to make it feel better. "Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything about it, You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." he quickly added. "No, its fine, I guess you do deserve an explanation after I almost punch you." I began, "I guess you can say I had a bad experience at my old school, I had a lot a bullies picking on me, mostly guys for some reason. They would beat me, bite me, call me horrible names, and basically made my life a living hell. I tried to fight back, I've tried calling my dad to tell him, but he would never pick up, and I was too weak to actually do damage to them. So I just ended up living with it for years and years. Then one day I got the courage to make a plan to escape and started to act upon it. I secretly got a job and put all the money away in separate accounts, I learn how to drive and bought a car, and once I was done the planning and practicing, I left. So the reason why I almost punched you is that I thought that you were one of the boys that found me and was going to drag me back to that hell hole." I finished.

We both were silent after that, my guess he was processing what I just told him and trying to think up some questions, while I was staring into the ocean. Next thing I knew, Zero pulled me into his lap, and hug me; I didn't know how to react at first since the only time I was hugged by a guy, it was to drain me dry for my blood. "I'm sorry for what happen to you," he began, "I'm sorry that you had to grow through that pain, but I just need to ask one more question; where they vampires?" I nodded my head, without realizing it, and was hugging him back, clutching onto his jacket. I don't really know how long we stayed like that, but eventually, he pulled back from me, look me in the eye and said, "I won't let you go back with those monsters, I swear. You can count on me to keep you safe, and if anyone harms you, or tries to I'll take care of it."
