Ch 11 - Ball-Park

It's dance time at Amagi Brilliant Park. Hand in hand you have Muse as you walk to the center of the park. Your cousin, Isuzu, the Princess and everyone is excited as all preparation was worth it.

Dance the night away.

You took Muse by the hand and walked her to the dance floor. Hand in hand you lead the night away. She smiled away as the teachings done by the Princess were paying off nicely. Slowly at first as she was rather impressed.

"(FN) I had no idea you were a dancer." She gazed at you.

"I'm not. But doing my best. I'm not awkward am I?"

"Not at all." She brought you a little closer. "So the fairies are a little jealous. Could you believe that?"

"Really? Of what?" You ask.

"Well this is kind of like a date." A slight shade of pink lite up her face.

"True." You blush as well. "Though it's funny. Spoke to some of the raffle winners that earned the dance with you. She thinks you're a princess."

"Me? Why me?"

You spin her around and have her lean back. "Because you my Dear are beautiful and talented."

"It's my job."

"Oh Muse. Come on. It fits you. Your voice, the way you move, personality to go with it. Soft spoken and rather gentle to boot." I actually just said that. Wow. Power of dance. You really hinted your feelings towards her. Now time to finally say it. She already said yes to a dance so why not?

"That how you view me?" She was confirming your feelings before she expressed hers.

"Accurate. A sweet, intelligent, and stunning woman."

"You don't see me as just a fairy?"

"So you make water. I first thought you could fly too. The wings when I first met you. All that being said doesn't mean I treat you any different."

"I like being fit in. At the same time I'm not used to this. I mean... you're so kind."

"Hug?"

"Of course you." She smiled as she wrapped around you. Taking in a slow deep breath. Wow he's warm. Comfy just built.

This is the most loving hug a guy can imagine.

"Can we stay like this?"

I would be mad to decline that. "As long as you want."

The feelings were both sides. It was just now the two of you expressing with words. The actions were there for a while. Especially after the heavy rainfall. Now what?

"So question. You going to be here long?" She asked.

"As far as tonight goes outside of those two girls not anytime soon. As far as Amagi itself, well let's just say I don't think it's anywhere close to those 90 days."

"You plan to stay if we make the goal?"

"Oh I do. It's weird because I feel like a carny as they call it. But being personal assistant and helping out with you ladies I can't complain. Although if Seiya does leave maybe Isuzu takes her spot back."

"You help her?" She flinched a little.

"Well it's about," You bend her way far back. She is amazed at what you are doing and gazed at you before bringing her back up. "Trust my lady."

"I trust you after all you have done. I mean you helped bring people here by the thousands. If we did this every week we can all have fun, raise money, and it's getting closer."

"Wait until he loads the stadium." You chuckle.

"He's pulling it off?" Gasped Muse.

"Work in progress." Left step and right step. "All the way to the top. It's madness. And some of the stuff we would do if we hit that goal would be nice. Take Tuesday and Wednesday off every week and once in a while a weekend day. Of course we'll figure out vacations and all. Especially in colder climate."

She giggled. "You work like your cousin don't you?"

You smirk. "I care about everyone here. Heck it puts a roof over my head and then some."

"You get paid much?"

"I'm taking a big cut to help keep the place going. That and I figured that and covered shelter and food take out a big expense."

"How much is a cut? I haven't received anything lower at all." She was feeling bad.

"I've had money set aside to where I can live off a few months with no work. I'm working a minimum wage salary. Does the job for right now. Bound to go up if I try and succeed. Maybe have a nice sit down dinner with everyone. Maybe us two as well."

"Us..." She blushed.

"What do you say? Your pick."

"When?"

Hmmmm. The lighting is set up. We got a busy weekend too. What's best? How's Monday night after this weekend? Me and you."

My goodness. "Are we really dancing and talking about a second date?"

"Second? Why I think it would be a first since it's not work related."

Muse was starting to lose it. "Right Honey." She blushed.

"So what do I call you?" You wink.

"Ummm I'm not sure." Now more flustered.

"Let me know when it crosses your mind Sweetheart."

"Uhhh okay. Thanks. And thank you for being so kind tonight. You aren't any smoke and mirrors. Work or not you're for real. I love it."

"I try." A girl around the age of ten walked up nearby and was in complete awe. "Aren't you our special winner Ai?" You ask her.

"Yeah. I won the dance with the water fairy princess right?" She was jumping for joy. "Hooray. Is this your boyfriend?" She asked not knowing anything but assuming because you two were dancing so close together.

"Well ummm..." She was panicking a little.

"Is he or is he not?" She asked.

You had to step in on this one. Muse was losing it. Didn't want to hurt you either. "Muse is a beautiful girl and is my best friend here at Amagi. She is truly amazing. Anyone lucky to have her."

Ai jumped at the opportunity. "Did you ask her to dance?"

"Yes."

"So you asked her out."

"Well..."

"She's your girlfriend."

"Muse?" You slowly turn to her.

"Yeah... he's... my first boyfriend." She smiled at you. Pink face and all.

"First?" That's possible? Wow. "Sweetheart?" You look into her eyes.

"I'll be with you momentarily... Honey."

After somewhat negotiating on terms with a little help with the raffle winner you have a girlfriend. After all of that work, those guts, and time put in. Finally. Now where to go from here?
