My Queen calls me, she is weak with hunger and the injuries she served. I race toward her, thinking she was being attacked once more. But when I reach the Hive she is fine and I stop on front of her and screeched for her to tell me what is wrong. Other of my sisters have gathered, and it appears I am the only Warrior at the moment.

"Our darkness shall spread. But without hosts we will die. I have come with the information that humans have landed on our home. I am greatly weak and the new Queen must be bred soon. I have laid a Praetorian but I have no more energy to lay any more. I have chosen the only Warrior who answered my call besides my Drones" the Queen hissed at her many children, and looked her head toward me.

"Xxaey, you will carry the Parasitoid to the humans. You know what to do after that, stay near without being seen and when the Praetorian escapes her host you get her something to eat and let her molt then order her back to the Hive so she can become new Queen for when she gets here I will be no more" I growled in understanding and watched as the egg of the Praetorian hatched and the Parasitoid knew where to go, crawling toward me.

I lower my head and let it crawl onto my back, feeling it nestle in between my shoulder blades to stay on. "Now go, do not fail me" the Queen hissed and I walk backwards. "Goodbye Queen" I screech, the Drones around me screeching with me. With that, I race toward where the scent is strongest. Soon I find where the humans have nested with guards around.

I slink around them, looking for the perfect host until I find a human walking away from the big metal Hive. I silently follow, feeling the Parasitoid quiver as it sensed a host. I get close to the human's back and stand on my legs, hissing and sank my claws into his shoulders and forced him to the ground, shoving his face into the ground so his scream was muffled.

After a minute I pull his head back up and feel the Parasitoid crawl off my back and latch to the human's face, wrapping its tail around his neck. The human went unconscious from lack of their precious oxygen and I drag him and the now implanted Praetorian into undergrowth and wait for my new Queen to appear.

Only when i heard the human grunt and moan in agony when I know the Praetorian is coming and swish my tail in excitement. The human was about to scream when the Praetorian burst out of his chest with a loud skree. I nudge the small Praetorian toward me and she wraps her snake like body around my shoulder and arm.

I hunt, I hunt and I hunt until I caught enough for the little life form. She eats until she has had her fill and she molts, once, twice, three times before coming to my size. I know she will molt more but for now I send her back to the Hive in which she races there. I back tracked to the dead human I had caught and sink my teeth into his head, feeding myself until a half eaten human lie there. I hadnt received any further instructions on what to do afterwards so I decide to watch the metal Hive closely, hiding in the darkness.

"So what we have found is a new planet?" Dr. Fender asked another scientist. "Yes, everything about it is unknown. Including native species but from what I have been informed there is no life on this planet besides smaller mammals" the other scientist reported, looking over some papers. I stand at attention as guard and listen to them speak, by white and yellow armor barely visible.

"Actually an ODST was found dead yesterday. Reports say he didnt have flesh from head down to hips" Dr. Fender said, bringing up the reports on a hologram. Dr. Fender wasnt lying when he said no flesh, not even insides, were left in his rib cage. Blood was pooled and splattered around him, skull having a mysterious bite mark in it.

"How strange" the other scientist said, looking at the picture pulled up. "Yes, when looked closer at the bones in the rib cage are bent upwards and telling from what was left of him the flesh had been torn by teeth and claws, bite and claw marks shown though whatever attacked him left an odd paw print" Dr. Fender pulled up another picture of a print in the damp dirt.
