Percy's POV

It was finally the last period.

I walked into class, and sighed. I had this class with Annabeth. You can only handle so much of a slut.

I sat in my usual spot, and leaned back.

"Can I sit here?" A soft familiar voice asked.

I looked up, and quickly sat up when I saw it was Nico. I looked at the empty seat, and remembered that Annabeth usually sat there. It would be rude to give her seat away.

"Sure. I didn't know we had another class together." I said.

He sat down, and shrugged.

"Learn new things everyday."

I chuckled.

"Um... can I have your number?" I awkwardly asked.

Nico looked surprised.

"Aren't you dating Jason?" He asked.

I scratched the back of my neck.

"Yeah. I just wanted to be able to be your friend." I said.

Nico smiled, and took out his phone.

"Sure. Here, give me your phone."

We exchanged phone, and he smiled when he saw my background.

"This is a cute picture. Who's the baby?"

I smiled.

It was at Candy's first birthday. She was covered in cake, and so was Jason. Tyson was beside them, laughing.

"Um.... she's my baby sister. It was two months ago." I explained.

He smiled, and put his number in my phone. I put mine in his, and handed him it back.

Class went by in a flash, and soon, I was walking to Jason's truck. I do have a car, but it's at home.

Jason ran over to the truck, and engulfed me in a hug.

"Why'd you leave me during lunch?" He asked.

I didn't have the guts to confront him about his erection towards Nico.

"I needed to talk to Mr. Bruner."

He didn't look convinced.

"Percy, we've been together for nearly three years. I know when you're lying!!"

I awkwardly rubbed my arm, and kept my eyes glued to the ground. Jason sighed, but threw his bag in the bed of his truck. I did the same, and watched as he quietly climbed into the driver's seat. I cautiously got in the passenger seat.

Our drives are usually loud, and filled with singing. But not this one. It was quiet....

"Babe?" I tried.

Jason hummed to let me know he was listening.

"Are you mad?"

"Are you lying?"

I knew he was mad. But I knew that if I told the truth, that it would lead to Jason sleeping on the couch.

He pulled into our driveway, and I got out, leaving Jason in the truck.

"Hey sweetie!!" Mom said when I walked through the door.

I faked a smile, and waved. She gave me a confused look, and looked around.

"Where's Jason?"

"I'm here." He said as he pushed me aside, and went upstairs.

Mom immediately knew that we weren't good.
