Chapter four:
Niall’s eyes widened, but he stayed silent. We sat there staring at each other for about a minute, but it seemed like an eternity. Thoughts raced trough my mind. What is he thinking? He probably just thinks I'm some stupid chick fangirling over him. Why did I do that? What if he tells me to leave? But just a moment after all those terrible thoughts were in my head, something great happened.
Niall leaned in close towards me, resting his forehead on mine, and then our noses touched. My stomach tingled and I couldn’t help but smile. He whispered, “I’m falling for you, Cassidy. I have been since I saw you.” I blushed and grinned.
“Niall, I’ve fallen, rather hard, I should say..” I paused for a moment and looked into his bright blue eyes. “But there’s one thing, why did Harry say that I couldn’t fancy you?”
He pulled back and sighed. “Cass, that’s what’s terrible, I've been thinking about telling you, but I didn’t know how yet.”
“What is it, Niall?”
“Well, before you came, Harry told all of us that no one could have you besides him, and that you would like him so its no big deal anyway.”
My eyes widened and silence fell over the room. “You’re kidding! But Niall! This cant be happening! I adore you, not him!” Niall blushed and grinned, but then a look of seriousness absorbed his face.
“I’m so sorry, Cassidy, but I don’t want to get Harry mad.. I think if there’s going to be an ‘us’ we have to hide it.” He frowned and I looked at his sad baby-face.
“Do you want an us?” I asked, hopefully.
“More than anything” he said, simply.
