They searched the place for Jack. Sakura, at times, went ahead of Bruce because he was moving a little slowly. She didn't comment on it, though she wanted to. When they had searched everywhere but one room she said softly, "There's only one place left he could be."

When Batman nodded at her, Sakura moved forward then cursed when the second she entered the doorway Jack began to shoot lasers at her. She dodged as fast as she could but eventually had to use a substitution jutsu to get herself out the way.

When she went back to Batman's side, he inquired, "Where do you get the wood from?"

Sakura grinned at him. "Trade secret."

Sakura and Bruce turned their head when they heard Jack scream, "I can do this all night!"

Sakura chuckled. "Someone's getting impatient." Sakura tilted her head and said, "So? Plan?"

His lips quirked a little before he said pointedly, "Any movement coming from in front of him he'll notice."

Sakura bit back her laughter. "Alright, then, behind him it is."

Sakura took off and scoured the building for the wall directly behind Jack. When she found it, she broke through it and moved fast knocking him out before he could turn his gaze on her form.

"Kunoichi!" Sakura turned her head toward Batman's concerned cry. Sakura rushed to Batman fearing he had collapsed because he had been dumb enough not to let her heal him sooner only to find that the person in danger was the Flash. He lay crumpled on the ground. Sakura sped to his side partially sliding across the floor to reach him.

"I'm fine." Flash groaning slowly sitting up. Batman pointed up, and Sakura raised her head and letting out a few expletives when she realized that Batman was telling her he had fallen from above and unlike her, no one had caught him.

"Don't you dare move, Flash." Sakura snapped.

"But King is getting away."

"You are more important than King."

Flash sighed, and Batman contacted the others and let them know the situation.

King didn't get away. Cyborg, who was supposed to stay behind, came to join them on the other side of the portal and had caught King trying to escape.

"I thought you were staying behind," Sakura said with a smile. She disentangled herself from the Flash who was only limping slightly after her healing him enough to get out on his own feet. She glanced at Superman silently asking him to give Flash the support he needed. Superman nodded his head, and Sakura bounced up to Cyborg to hug him.

They were the youngest two members of the League. Sakura and Victor didn't see eye to eye on everything, but they did on enough to make Sakura very fond of him. He was, in some ways, just as displaced as she was and she stuck by him because of it. She didn't want him to feel alone. She wanted him to have someone at his side just like she had Clark.

As she came closer to Cyborg, she saw Green Lantern wiggling his eyebrows in suggestion. Sakura wanted to roll her eyes. For some reason, several members of the League, i.e., Aquaman, Flash, and Green Lantern swore that something romantic was going on between her and Cyborg. The more the two of them denied it, the less they believed them. It was annoying, but at least Clark believed her when she said that nothing was going on between them.

"This is where the party is at. I couldn't resist." Sakura wrapped her arms around him not bothered by the metal that encompassed him.

"Well, I'm glad you showed up," Sakura said as she turned back to look at King. "You were needed."

The prisoners were tied up together and had all been knocked unconscious. Sakura moved away from Cyborg just as Green Lantern shook King awake. She moved closer to Superman and leaned her body against his using him to support her body weight. He looked down at her and smiled knowing what she was doing.

"It's time for some answers."

King sneered and said, "I want my lawyer."

Hal used his ring to make a fist. Before he could threaten the man, Wonder Woman sighed and stepped forward wrapping him in the lasso of truth. Sakura was glad Wonder Woman decided to go the mature route. She tossed Hal a dirty look so that he'd know what she thought of his methods. In return, he looked at her with false innocence. The Flash chuckled at the exchange.

"Who gave you the tech?" Wonder Woman demanded. Sakura had mixed feelings about the lasso of truth. It was a handy tool to have on your side but the chance that it could be used against you...

Sakura didn't like the thought of there being an object in the world that could make her say things she didn't want. She wanted to destroy the damned rope because no one should have possession of such an object. Clark hadn't agreed to help her do so. Neither had Batman. She hadn't been surprised by their refusal and even though she wanted to destroy the lasso that would be a great betrayal to Diana that she wouldn't be able to force herself to go through with.

"I don't know."

Every member of the League present turned and faced Wonder Woman—some with arched brows. She rolled her eyes and Sakura covered her mouth to hide her smile.

"The lasso of truth compels you, tell us who gave you the tech."

Again King repeated, "I don't know."

Sakura looked around, "Guys, I think he doesn't know. Diana's lasso doesn't make mistakes." She wished it did, though.

Superman sighed. "We need to sleep on this. I'll take these guys to the police and—"

"No. I don't want to sleep on it." Batman interrupted. "We can use the tech to—"

"I'm still working on decrypting it," Cyborg interjected. "I'll let you know when I have something."

Sakura took a few steps forward and put a hand on Batman's arm. "Batman, let me heal you."

"I told you that I was fine."

"Yeah, you told me that, but I call bull shit."

Batman shrugged Sakura's arm off causing her to flinch. He pulled out a grappling hook, aimed, and fired letting it lift him away.
