New Beginning

Falling on my Butt

**Kaitlyn's pov**
"Look around at all the new faces, Kait this is high school where new memories are in the making" that was my neighbor Jessica, she's a sophomore as well this year. That was the last thing I heard before I zoned out and went to Kait's world where everything is perfect and where I'm not starting my first day as a sophomore at Birchwood high school. Saying I'm new my neighbor, which I met when I moved over the summer, Jessica, is showing me around.By the way I'm Kaitlyn but my friends call me Kait, I'm 16 years old, I'm not what you call popular, I don't have tons of friends I used to have 2 best friends but then I moved and now we don't talk
I'm forced back into reality when I fall flat on my butt. I'm so stunned that I'm froze in place and just sitting there like a retard. Like a minute or two later I finally comprehend what happen
"well that was a lovely way to start off my first day at a new school, now wasn't it Jess?"
"Heck yeah it was and now you should probably answer his question." I look up at Jess just a tad bit confused. She shoots a glance to her right which happens to be in front of me. I shiz you not I saw the hottest guy on the face of the universe. He was really tall, with long light brown flippy hair, tan skin, he wore a tight fitting navy blue t-shirt and faded blue jeans.
I try to stand up but I just ended up falling back down. I guess when I fell the first time I twisted my ankle.
" Lollypops!"
"Are you alright?"
"Did it sound like I was alright?! Sorry I don't mean to be mean, but it hurts really fudging bad."
"That's what I thought, give me your hands." I just stare at his hand with a skeptical look.
"If you give me your hands then I will help you up and to the school nurse." "Oh." I put my shaking hands into his really strong big ones. When I get back on two feet I almost fall back down from the pain but he gripped my waist to keep me from falling. I get a closer look at his face when he pulled me up. He has gorgeous brown eyes, a few freckles scattered on his cheeks, chiseled jaw, and rock hard abs if I must say so.
"I'm Dylan. I have never seen you around here before, are you new here?" "Yeah, I moved 2 weeks into the summer. Jess, that girl I was with, she is my neighbor."
"Wait so you live in the big white house with the wrap around porch?" "Yeah?"
"Really I live on the other side of your house! How come I have never seen you before then?"
"I'm not to sure, but Jess tried to keep me to her self once we met. My ankle doesn't hurt anymore so you can let go and go to class."
"Oh, are you sure? Well I'm still going to walk you to class just to make sure you get there safely. Can I see your schedule" When he let me go I took out my schedule and handed it to him. As he was scanning my schedule he started to grin really big.
"Why are you grinning like that?"
"Oh no reason... just that we have all of our classes together!" I have no clue if that is a good thing or not. Well let the day begin.
