***Kait's pov***

"Kait can you please tell me what happened at lunch? I know something happened because you sat far away from Dylan in study hall and walked away from him when he tried to talk to you? So don't even try to lie to me and say nothing!"

"It's no big deal Jess, I just found out what Dylan really is like. Nick had to tell me, Dylan wouldn't even look me in the eye!" Dylan, Nick, and Kade were all in my german class and study hall, and worse of all Mr. what ever his name was, sandwiched me between Dylan and Kade! Nick sat 2 rows in front of us.

*flashback to german class*

"Kait please talk to me, I need to explain what he was talking about. please"

"You should have done that when I asked you! Now leave me alone so I can pay attention!" I hissed at him and walked away to talk to one of the girls I met in History, Gemma, I kinda bumped in to her before class and made her drop all of her stuff.

"Are you stalking me?" What the heck...?

"Excuse me? Oh. Um. I actually wanted to say sorry about running into you and then yelling at you. Sorry" I say as looking away.

"Ha, it's a good thing you're not ugly because if you were I would have had to ruin your life for yelling at me in front of everyone. Oh and by the way you look hot when you blush like that."Omg am I really blushing uggh! Ew! who the heck has their nasty arm around me!!

"Hey babe why are you talking to Kade I already told you that you're mine"

"Nick get your ugly arse arm off of me before I break it!" I hate him so much!

"Aw babe don't be like that. Are you still mad because I told you about Dyl? He had it coming sooner or later! And you should be thanking me I did you a favor."

"I would rather die than thank you now if you don't mind, even if you do, I'm going back to my seat. See you later Gemma"

"Bye Kait"

*end of flashback*

"Kait, Kait, Kait! The bell just rang! We can get out of this hell hole now!"

"Oh sorry. I was just thinking about what to do about Dylan, Nick, and Kade, but yeah let's go." Even though we are both 16 we don't have cars so we have to walk to school and back home.My mom said that when I turn 17 I can have my own car.

"Kait, what's on your porch?

"Good question,what the heck is on my porch?" I ran the rest of the way to my house to find what's on my porch while Jess went home to wait for me to tell her.

"That's weird, they are purple and red roses. Oh there's a note attached to them."

"Dear Kait,

I am really sorry I didn't tell you, but what Nick told you was how I was Freshman year. I stopped being like that when I realized what I was doing. Nick was mad at me for leaving his side for long term relationships. There are 10 purple roses to say how sorry I am and 5 red roses for how many times you told me you hated red roses and how you hated players. If you really really want to you can curse the baseball gods on me

"Dylan where are you? I know you're out here, you wouldn't leave the roses out here without knowing that I got them."

"Do you have any sharp objects on you?"

"No Dylan."

"Will you try to hurt me."

"Even if I did I honestly don't think I would do any damage!"

"True. Okay I'm coming out." I swear this boy is gonna be the death of me!

"Why 15 roses though?"

"For how many years I didn't know you existed. I really am sorry though."

"Yeah yeah I know! Come here you pain in my ass!" I gave him a big hug

"Text me later I have to ask my mom if I can spend the night at Jess's house.Bye Dylan!"

"Okay see ya!" As we parted ways I grabbed my 15 roses and headed inside to find a vase and ask my mom if I can spend the night at Jess's. As I was about to call out to my mom my phone buzzed, telling me that I someone is calling me.

"Hello?"

"Kait, I'm working late today so I won't be home until really late so if you want to you can stay at Jess's so you won't be home alone."

"Haha okay, I was actually going to ask you if I could. Oh and when you get home don't be startled if you see a big bouquet of roses on the table."

"Okay, you know what? I'm not even going to ask why you have a whole bunch of flowers after you first day of school."

"Haha.Okay mom see tomorrow love you"

"Love you too. Bye sweetie!"
*A hour later*
"Hello Mrs. Irwin, how are you this lovely evening?"

"Hello Kait, I'm doing good and it seems like you are doing really good. I have told you a million times not to call me Mrs. Irwin when you are over her 24/7"

"Haha, I know I can't help it! Random question though.. What's for dinner? You know I love your cooking!"

"I know we are having Chicken Alfredo tonight. Let Jessica know that why don't ya"

"Okay I'll let her know Mrs.... Um I mean ma'ma"
