Present Time

I woke up to a text by a new number.

"It's Zion, Austin said that y'all can meet at I Hop at 12 noon. The one downtown so yeah call when you read this. -Zion" 10:48 am

"I will be there then but I'm bringing a friend so tell him to get a booth." -Liv 11:07 am

I went into my bathroom and did my hygiene and then got dressed ready to start my day.

I woke up Sofia so that we could get ready. Once she was dressed and everything we left out to go to I HOP.

"Why you look nervous boo?"

"Cause I am Sofia I'm scared that if this really is my brother for real and I get too close I might lose him too; ya know I've already accepted the fact I had no family left and now I've found out I do. It's just a little overwhelming." I broke down to her.

"Girl don't let your fears stop you from meeting your brother. Remember when you met me it wasn't so bad."

"You wouldn't let me not talk to you." I told her giving her a look.

"Yeah, yeah anyway we are here so let's go meet your brother and my soon boyfriend."

"Yeah whatever."

We walked in together and quickly spotted the two with three more guys with them.

"OMFG, they are even cuter in person Liv!" My friend yelled loudly making them all laugh.

We walked over and took a seat.

"So...." I say waiting for him to go on.

"Um yeah so basically when I was 3 mom got pregnant with you and when my dad found out he took me and we went to California and the last time I seen mom was when I was 10 but I didn't know you existed then. My dad finally told me about you like last year and I been looking for you ever since pretty much."

"Aye you said Pretty Much." Sofia said with her corny ass.

"Pretty much aye we rocking Pretty much." They began to rap together.

"She we are like having an important conversation." I announced stopping their childish song.

"This is crazy." I began shaking my head.

"Yeah I know but I'm happy to know I have a sibling."

"Same."

"Well let me properly introduce myself and my friends. This is Brandon, Nick, Edwin and you already met Zion."

"Hi." I waved

"We should go bowling." Brandon said while looking down at his phone.

"Yesss." Sofia said eagerly.

"Well lets go then." Edwin said while everyone began heading for the door.

At the bowling alley

We had to be playing our 12th game by now and Nick and Edwin were tied in points while Zion was having trouble even rolling the damn ball.

"I swear this thing is rigged." Zion said as the ball went into the gutter for like the 10th time this evening.

"No your just ass at bowling Z." Branden explained to him.

"You not even playing so shut up." He argued back.

He walked over snatched my phone out my hand and began running with it. I chased him all around the bowling alley.

He stopped and reached his arm up in the air.

"Give me my phone Zion." I whined annoyed with his shenanigans.

"Get it shorty." he told me knowing I'm short asf I'm only 5'4 compared to his 6'1 I think.

"Awe y'all are cute." Sofis said walking up to us taking a picture.

"What do you mean, I barely know him."

"So, y'all will eventually fall in love with each other like the fucking wattpad love stories."

"Shut up Sophie and help me please."

"No need here you go." He said handing me my phone then ran off back to bowl.

"Jackass." I mumbled before going back over to the group.
