The boy who fell too hard

Once there was a boy who fell
He fell so hard for a girl
A girl that just watched him fall
She finally caught him at the last moment
But he had already hit the floor
Then she fell for him to
And it was the best thing that had happened for the both of them
But soon
The boy made the girl get up because she fell harder for someone else
But she didn't know it yet
So he made her get up and she stood up and continued to live
The boy just sat there and cried
Cried because he lost her
He did it for her and she never knew it
And never will know it
The saddest thing though
Is that's it's been a few weeks
And she has already moved on
But the boy
The boy still hasn't gotten up
He doesn't know how
Nor does he want to
For he fell so hard
That it hurts to get up
Hurts so much that he gave up trying to get up
So now when he watches her fall
He realizes she never fell as hard as she did for him
And now he regrets his decision
But there is nothing he can do
So he watches from the floor
As the girl of his dreams falls for other guys
Guys who don't even care that she fell
And guys who just leave her on the floor to get stepped on
To get trampled on
Never to get up again
For she is crushed
And the boy watches in pain
As he realizes that it's his fault
