Today was the day me and my family were moving clear across the country and to my dismay I had no say in the matter! I mean I really didn't care I had nothing holding me here in Ohio, but the friend's I did have I would miss!

I had grown up here but I had alway's felt like an outcast, it was a small town and I just seemingly didn't fit into the world of their's. They were tolerable I didn't hate the people and they didn't hate me, but you wouldn't catch me at one of their many parties they threw, they would always reluctantly invite me but they knew I would decline their offer!

I guess I was the girl who kept to herself and always had her eyes immersed into a book. Always in my own little world! I was an honor student and my teacher's would always commed me on my diligence! My friends Megan and Talia were practically the complete opposite of me they actually fit in, why they chose to hang with me after middle school? Was still a mystery to me! I mean we had all been attached at the hip since birth so I guess that would explain some of it.

But the day before my move realization hit me, I no longer wanted to be that socially awkward book nerd who hid behind baggy clothes and big chunky glasses, I wanted to change no one knew me at my new school, this was a fresh start for me, I was going to be a new me, first step new wardrobe I no longer needed winter clothing because Miami was always warm!

Step 2 get my hair done, because I don't think I had ran a brush through it in month's! I had shoulder length blond hair that I hated! My mom took me to the salon in which I got extentions and had my hair lightened slightly and they curled it, my hair was now mid back!

Step 3 actually putting effort into my appearance, which meant learning how to apply make up correctly, I went to the store and got tons I had been watching tutorials and I made a list of what all I needed I went to my eye doctor and picked up my contacts that would complete my look I had always worn glasses so this was goig to take a while to get accustomed to!

I woke up and headed to my bathroom to take a quick shower once out I put on a hoodie and sweatpant's, I put my glasses on and quickly blow dried my hair! I packed up what remained in my room! My dad was staying behind with my brother so they could drive the moving trucks! Me and my mom had a flight in an hour so I brought my suit case down stairs and watched my mom finish making us a quick breakfast we sat in silence for a couple minutes when my mom interjected my thoughts!

"Whats on your mind sweetie?" She said as she leaned against the counter!

"Oh nothing" I flushed red slightly embarassed that she caught me once again in my own little world "Just a little nervous is all" I said with a chuckle.

She shifted slightly on the balls of her feet and turned to get me something from the fridge, she brought me an iced coffee and I smiled up at her!

"You don't wanna be tired" she said with a chuckle she must have noticed my constant yawning I couldn't sleep at all last night I was to nervous!

My mom interupted my thoughts once again! "So did you say your goodbyes to Megan and Talia?" I frowned at her words I had known these girls for 17 years! "It's not a goodbye it's an I'll see you later" I said with a smile.

"So I guess that's a no?" she said laughing'

"Yup" I popped the [p] "They are coming for winter break, spring break and over the summer"

"Of course they are, they wouldn't give up the opportunity to miss hot guys on the beach" She rolled her eyes and chuckled.

I just laughed and drank my iced coffee!
