It All Started With Music-A Raura Love story

Laura's POV

"Laura!" my Mom shouted downstairs.

"Coming!"I shouted back.

I closed my favorite book by Nicholas Sparks with a bookmark from the last chapter I have already read.

I ran downstairs waiting for Mom to tell me what is going on.

"We have a surprise for you." my Mom said and smiled with a cheeky grin.

"What is it?" I asked my mom knowing that it's good news.

"You got accepted in the Music School of New York!!!" my Mom exclaimed still smiling wide.

I couldn't believe it,is this real? Am I dreaming? Cause last time I checked I was dreaming.Did I really got in the HIGHEST KIND OF SCHOOL IN MUSIC?!?!?

"SERIOUSLY!?!?!?"I shouted jumping up and down screaming.

"Okay,okay we know that you got in,but stop shrieking like there's mice in room!" my Dad shouted.

"You know I can't help it dad." I told him and he just shook his head and smiled.

"We are really proud of you." my parents said looking happily at me.

"Last time I checked you were a baby and now you have grown to be a beautiful young lady." my Mom told me looking happy as ever.

Now I have mixed emotions I feel happy,relieved,excited,and all the other good emotions you can think of.

And I just cried with tears of joy,I mean who wouldn't cry at a time like this?

"Mom and Dad I wouldn't have chased my dreams without you guys.I wouldn't grow up to be like this,what you see in front of you now is your work.Thank you for everything and I'm also thankful that I'm blessed with wonderful parents."I gave them my speech of thankfulness even though it's a little short.

"Your welcome,We love you." they said crying like me as well.

"I love you too."I told them happily and meaningfully.

Then we made a group hug.

After our group hug a question quickly came up to my mind.

"Mom when will I start?" I asked my mom while wiping my tears away.

"Well,It's Sunday so,2 weeks more before you go,so I'll give you permission to go have a sleepover at your friend's house cause you will not see them for a long time,but your only going to have a sleepover for seven days,that means one week okay."

Wow,it's like my mom can read minds! I was about to ask her about a sleepover.

I hugged my Mom tightly.

"Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!!!!!!" I thanked my mom and ran up to my room to get my things ready.
