Last time...
"Ross! The Results are Here!!!" Dad said shouting and I ran downstairs like a five year old that got presents from Santa under the Christmas tree.
Now...
As I run down stairs I quickly grabbed the letter and begin to open it.
"Please please please say I passed." I begged the letter.
I slowly open the paper and read all of it.
"What does it say son?" Dad asked.I just stared at it for a few more minutes.
"Mom,Dad,I've been accepted!" I shouted with joy in my voice and hugged them both.
"We're so proud of you!" they both say at the same time.
"Thank you Mom and Dad.I wouldn't have got this in the first place without the two of you.You're the most awesome parents.I love you guys." I said meaningfully,still hugging them.
"We love you too." they said and hugged me tighter.
"Dad,when's the time I will go there?" I asked.
"In about 2 weks I think." Dad replied.
"I can't wait till I go there."
After 7 days...
Laura's POV
This has been the greatest week of my life.Me,Raini,and Jessica have the best sleepover.I guess it's time that I say goodbye to them.
"Thank you guys for the wonderful week you gave me.I will miss both of you." I said and hugged them both.
"Don't say your good-byes yet,you still have one more week." Rain said while Jess nodded.
"Yeah I know,it's just for leaving your house Rain,we're just like five houses apart while Jess is six houses apart from mine." I said and hugged them tighter.
"Don't worry Laur,we will always be by your side." Jess said.After a few more minutes we pulled apart from our hug.
"Bye guys see you soon." I said walking out the door.
I walked home singing a song in my head when suddenly I bumped into someone.
"I'm so sorry,I'm not looking where I was walking." I apologized to the person I bumped into.
"It's okay." He said looking down then he looked at me.
"I'm Calum Worthy." Calum said placing his hand in front of me.
"Laura,Laura Marano." we introduced ourselves to each other and we shook our hands.
"Um,Calum may I ask you something?" I asked politely.
"Yes,what is it?" he replied.
"Are you new here in the neighborhood?" I asked due to the fact that I haven't seen him here before.
"Yes I am new here,I just moved here yesterday at that house behind me." he said pointing to a yellow house with a nice garden.
"Well then,welcome to the neighborhood." I said putting my hands sideways in the air.
"Thank you Laura,but I have to go meet somebody,do you know where this house is?" he said handing me a piece of paper with an address.Wait! That's Jessica's house!
"Yes,I know that house,that is exactly my best friend's house,are you looking for her?" I asked.
"Yes,I'm looking for Jessica." He said so I escorted him.
