WOAH! It's 2018 now, eh? The new year has been pretty great so far. Connor and I are almost 2 months strong, and even though it hasn't't really been that long, I'm still quite happy about how its going. Another thing is that with the new year, I have a new English teacher. She's amazing. Also, I moved up to first band, Wind Symphony. I was really excited in December because it meant that I was actually good enough for somebody, but its just been really hard for me. Second band, Symphonic, was like another family for me, but Wind Symphony is just like, "Hi, practice your instrument, and you'll succeed. Also, nobody will listen to you, and you don't fit in." I want to move back down. But life isn't like that. However, solo and ensemble is in less than in a month, and I'm ready for that to be over. I'm ready for marching season to start again. And I want to get my grades up, but oh well. And my ex and I are getting to be more like friends than enemies. And his girlfriend (my ex best friend) doesn't hate me as much, I don't think.
As always, stay strong and be yourself. <3
