(Laurence POV)
Mine and y/n spot took about an hour to find, and I sat there for 5 minutes until I noticed the fort that we've sat in since 4 grade.
I forgot about the 'sadness shack' it's only called that because that where we ate ice cream and cried our eyes out together when we were sad.
I walked over there and saw her. Y/N. Limp. On the ground. I rushed over to her and started shaking her. "Y/n? Come on y/n get up... Please. " I eventually saw her eyes open. I wrapped my arms around and cried. She was awake. She's here.
(Y/N POV)
I saw him, Laurence, and everything came back to me. He wrapped his arms around me and started crying. I put my hands through his hair and hugged him back. It was just me and him crying together. Just like old times...
I pulled my sleeves down because they were full of cuts, I didn't want him to see. I didn't want his pity, although he would probably understand.
I fell asleep. And next thing I know I'm in a hospital room with feeding tubes coming out of me, ivs sticking out of my arms, and a steady rhythm on the heart monitors.
I opened my eyes to see My mom, Garroth, Zane, Vlayd, and Laurence. I try to get up but the tube in my throat jerked and hurt my stomach ((ok I've actually seen this happen and it's gross and scary))
They just stood there looking at me. No hugs, no crying, nothing. Just Laurence rubbing the palm of my hand. He looks drained. There's bags under his eyes he looks starved, his hair is everywhere and greasy. I didn't get a good look at him earlier.
"So... " I say.
