Cold hearted part 2

I was still confused by the kiss yesterday but I decided to just focus on the upcoming anniversary for my clothing line. I've had my clothing line started 6 years ago with only 2 investors me and Dave. He sadly has to come because he's in an investor in my company.

The night of the party
Everything was set up perfectly. Drinks music and food were all put together nicely. As people started coming in, I see Dave alone. I don't pay him any attention because I don't want this night to be ruined. I walk over to the bar to see woody Elijah and Luke there. "Hey fellas." I said smiling hugging them. "Congratulations on your success." Elijah said. "Thank you guys." I said. I continue talking with them as Dave comes over holding flowers for meElijah woody and Luke did not like him.
"Hey jade." He said. "Hey David." I said drinking my champagne awkwardly. Elijah Luke and woody had already left. "Look I know you don't want me here but I wanted to give you these as a way of congratulations. I'm sorry about everything I've done the cheating the staying out late everything. I just wanted to say I'm sorry I know you won't forgive me anytime soon but just know I'm really sorry." He said giving me the flowers and leaving. He knows which flowers I like rainbow roses. I couldn't help but feel misty eyed. But I had to bkeep it together because I have a speech to make.
I walk to the podium to make my speech.
"Good evening everyone I would like to thank you for attending the anniversary party for my clothing line. It's been a great 6 years I started the company with only 4 thousand dollars to my name. With that I graduated from FIDM Ny with top honors and now I'm designing for Beyoncé and many others." As I'm giving me speech, I'm looking in the crowd and I see Dave smiling. Despite him not being with me anymore, he's always been my big supporter.
"Thank you everyone" I said walking off the stage as everyone cheered and clapped.

I walk over to the bar and I see a woman who I haven't seen before. She walks over to me and taps me on the shoulder. "Can I help you?" I ask. "I want to apologize to you." The stranger asked. "For what honey?" I asked confused. "I'm the girl your man cheated on you with." She said. I looked at her shocked and confused. Dave comes over. "Yo deadass you sent this girl here bruh?" I said looking at him. He was holding his head down. "You got me fucked up bruh." I said leaving.

I walk to my apartment door and I see the woman who kissed me earlier on in the week. I look and see her smiling. "You look sad." She said. "It was suppose to be an important night but it got ruined." I said tearing up. "That's not good baby maybe I can cheer you up." She said holding my hand. We walk in my apartment. We sit on the couch talking when I get a knock. "Jade please open up." Dave said. I walk to the door annoyed. "Dave what do u want?" I said annoyed. "Look I didn't know she was coming." She said. The more and more I was getting annoyed, the girl came over and said to Dave. "You lost her she's with me now." After she said that, she closed the door in his face.
That night I wasn't thinking about Dave
I guess you could say I'm cold hearted
