Hiya Readers! I'm so excited to start my new review series. So today I finished Baby Doll by the talented Wonderwall123.

I the story is Thalia, our beloved protagonist, who grew up extremely poor, unable to even finish junior high. She lives with her Mom and younger brother until she is taken and forced to become a Baby Doll. Baby Doll are basically prostitutes. She is sold to a rich man to fulfill his wish for his son to have sex with a virgin. Harry, the son, doesn't want to or feel the need to do this. Over the course of a couple of months Thalia and Harry fall into a deep passionate love, which fuels the plot of this story.

Two things I absolutely loved about this story is the realism and simple writing. I absolutely love how Wonderwall123 didn't make Thalia go he's hot so I'm okay with prostitution like some stories do. She also didn't make her instantly okay with everything around her, when bad things happened Thalia wasn't great after two chapters, Wonderwall123 pule Duse through Thalia's though and emotional process while at the same time not being too descriptive. This brings me to my next love, her simple writing. Baby Doll was a emotional roller coaster and if she would have spent three chapters describing what exactly a character was doing, I wouldn't have finished it.

What I didn't like about Baby Doll was the repetition and vagueness. This story like I said before is wonderful but the repetition was killing me. For the sake of potential reader I won't go into too much detail but some characters keep doing and saying the exact things. Yes, it was what their character was supposed to be behaving but it kinda felt like I was rereading a previous chapter. Also the vagueness. In this story nothing is perfectly explained. When contracts were signed, why she police weren't called ever, and true motivation for some characters.

Spoilers Alert

My favorite characther was in surprisingly Harry. Usually it's the girl but I feel Harry had more character development from chapter one. For example, Standing up to his father, switching  to a art major, and not being a temperamental cock muffin.

My favorite moment was when they ( Harry and Thalia) went to the beach and Harry was talking to her about why she wouldn't swim in her bra and panties. I felt like this was a happy moment and if she ended it there I would have been happy(-ish).

The ending of the story wrapped up a lot but I kinda wanted a like four years later type of ending where Harry was a successful artist and was at Tess was graduating from high school or whatever.
