Hero's p.o.v.

I awoke to an inpatient pounding on the front door. I groan as I get off my bed. I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I STILL HAVE MY SUIT ON!!! I make a b-line for the closet and take it off and changing into some sweats hiding the suit in the dresser.

"OPEN THE DAMN DOOR HERO!!!" Jake yells, he must've forgotten his key again. I get to the door and open it. Instead of being greated by my best friend and amazingly annoying roommate I see a beautiful girl in front of me. She stares intently at my bare chest. "Finally!" Jake says from behind the girl. "Oh. You were still asleep. Sorry bro."

"You forgot your key again?" I asked tiredly. I just want to get back to bed. I was out all night fighting Nightgale again.

"So that's why you couldn't open the door? You said the locks were changed this morning and you weren't here to get the new key." The girl says glancing at Jake. He chuckles nervously.

"Did I say that?" He asks as he walks in dragging the girl in with him. I close the door behind them. "Oh, Hero, this is Robin, Robin that is Hero." I roll my eyes and extend my hand.

"Nice to finally meet you, Jake has told me nothing about you." I say and get Robin to giggle.

"He's told me a lot about you."

"Five." Jake says. Robin and I look at him. "Four."

"Jake, why are you counting down?" Robin asks him with confusion tangled in her voice.

"Three. Two." He continues and me and Robin look at each other. "One." Jake then points at the coffee table where I left my phone last night. "Did I miscalculate that?" Then my phone beeps. "There it is!" I walk over and grab my phone.

"Shit." I mumble.

"Got to go?" Jake asks innocently.

"Put a sock in it Jake."

"Robin has to stay here for awhile by the way." I stop in my tracks to stare at him. "Please? She's my sister and has no where else to go." So their siblings. I nod and head to my room closing the door. Once I put my suit back on and put some ordinary clothes over it I walk out.

"Later Jake. Bye Robin."

"Duces. Don't stay out too long bro. I need your affection too."

"Gay ass. Bye Hero, will I be seeing you tonight?"

"Uh...probably not. I work late."

"You always work late bro. You need to talk to your boss about that. Going in early and leaving late. Everyday."

"Yeah yeah, whatever. I got to go if I don't want to be late. Later." I say and walk out the door. Instead of heading to work I head to Lillie's house.

Robin's p.o.v.

I watched Jake's roommate leave in a rush. I wonder why he has to leave so early. He didn't even eat.

"I see you." I hear Jake say in front of me. I look up and see him sitting on the couch in front of me.

"See me what?"

"You like him." He chuckles.

"I do not!" I yell at the idiot.

"You were checking him out at the door."

"He opened it half naked."

"You could've just looked away."

"Why was he all scratched up?" I ask, since we were on that subject. I remember there was a big gash on his chest.

"He gets into a lot of fights supposedly." Jake says nonchalantly. "I say he's a secret agent or something but he says that that's ridiculous." I roll my eyes.

"That is ridiculous Jake. Thats like saying he's someone like Superman." I say and Jake gasps.

"OH MY LORD!!! What if he is!? That would be soooo awesome!!! What if he's-" Jake starts.

"Jake. Shut it he's not Shadow Dragon."

"I was going to say Storm Dragon." Jake says rolling his eyes.

"I thought D Storm was dead?" I ask hesitantly.

"Actually, no one knows who is dead. They don't know if its D Storm or D Shadow." I think about it. Which one died? Which one did I kill? I was the one fighting them that night. "Any who, Robin, I'm gonna take a nap. If you want to take one too I don't think Hero would mind you taking his bed."

"I thought you said you two had an extra room." My stepbrother could be such an idiot.

"I don't know if Hero would be alright with you taking that room..." Jake trails off.

"What do you mean Jake?"

"That room used to be his brothers room. His brother died a few months back." I suddenly feel a little bad for Hero. I nod to Jake as he walks to his room. I slowly get up and walk to the room I saw Hero lock himself in when he got dressed. The room was surprisingly neat.

I layed down on his bed, his smell surrounding me. I turned onto my said and saw a picture on the night stand. I sat up and grabbed it. It was a picture of Hero with his arm around a boy that looked exactly like him on his right and a girl on his left. The girl seemed to be leaning in to give him a kiss. I feel a little bit of jealousy bubble in my stomach. I hear my idiot stepbrother snoring in the other room so I get up and check. He's out dead. I grab my backpack and leave my stepbrother a note saying that I was going to check out the neighborhood. This 'check out' will be fun. Very fun. I was fighting with D Shadow last night. At least I think it was D Shadow. Any who, I'll show him who rules. This is my town. They will fear me.
