Mirry
My mind had to be spinning in a million circles. Over the past two weeks, my mind has been in a daze. Ever since we had our first time, he was on my mind 24/7, and I just couldn't help it! I never knew our love was just so passionate until that night. That night I got my answers, and I began to realize how deep our love was. Even if we separated, one day our love would merge back together another day.
It saddened me to know that those two weeks passed by so quickly. I love him with all my heart, and now I have to depart from him. Words can't describe how empty my heart would feel after I leave for California. Tears trickled down my cheeks as I zipped my last suitcase. I took my time walking downstairs to our car.
"C'mon, Miracle! We've got to get to the airport early, so we don't miss our flight." My dad hollered from outside.
"I'm coming!" I yelled back. Every step I took became harder to take as I walked out of the house I grew up in. This was my hometown. We moved back and forth from this house to another then back, but now we were finally selling it.
I groaned as I stepped into the car. When they started the car, I plugged my earphones in and faded out from reality as I watched our house disappear from view. I really was going to miss that place.
The only reason why my dad wanted to rush me was because he didn't want Diggy to catch up and tag along. Basically, he was going to have the time of his life once we land in L.A.
I couldn't stand when he interrupts my love life. It's like a king arranging a marriage for his princess. I need to breathe for once, and choose who I want to love. I hate that he can't see that. I also hate that his wife agrees. I swear their both against me.
The airport was about 10 minutes away, so it didn't take long to get there. We approached and wheeled our baggage into the airport. I looked over the crowd of people walking back and forth around the airport like an energetic caged rat. A soft hand grabbed hold of mine and I looked down to see Kyra. She didn't like the whole move thing. She was a big fan of the house, and seeing it fade out of our lives made her attitude plumit to the ground.
I hugged her shoulder as we put out larger bags on the conveyor belt and walked towards the "Departure" area of the airport. We took our seats as we waited on our flight to be announced.
Kyra begged and pleaded with our step-mom because she was the weakest link. She hesitantly gave in and handed her a twenty dollar bill, pointing of at me.
"What did she say?" I asked Kyra as she smiled in my face.
"She says I have to share this $20 with you to get something to eat at the upstairs food court." She replied, grabbed my hand. "C'mon slowpoke, stop moping and get something to eat."
I rolled my eyes, laughing. "Fine, rugrat. I swear you would have won the audition for Rugrats. Maybe since we're moving to L.A. you could get a headstart."
She pushed me gently as we made our way to the escalator. "Shut up!" Kyra pouted.
"Oh c'mon, did I hurt your feelings?"
"No, you just annoy me. No wonder you don't have any friends." She teased as we walked around.
"I have plenty."
"Name one that doesn't include Diggy's friends or family."
"Um... Jakayla." I smirked.
"She's Diggy's distant cousin."
I rolled my eyes. "What about Jasmine?"
"Friend? That's foe, babes. You know she's fake."
"And look who decided to log into high school." I folded my arms as we walked up to a pizza vendor.
