Proposal with a chocolate

Flowers in one hand,
I sat on one knee
Proposed to the love of my life,
In the best possible way that could be.

He didn't smile, that I wanted to see
Just laughed and said,
I thought you'll propose with chocolates to me.

To roll my eyes or laugh at his cuteness
Was a tough choice to make.
It could be a yes or a no
But he was the risk I would happily take.

He promised to say yes
Only if I could describe him in a few lines.
