Jin's P.O.V

Here I am. At my long forever dream job, sitting at my dream desk. I'm living a dream. I've always wanted to be a business operation manager. Weird for a dream job but it has a lot to do with mathematics. Projects and willing to get along with others as well hiring people for the business too.

I didn't have to go to college for that long to get such a high paying job. Only been here for a couple minutes and I'm ready to work. But when? Now, please now! I place my hands together and try not to smile from excitement I pray to my God.

Please let me get to working! Please! I've worked so hard! Let this hard work pay off today!
AMEN

I put my hands down and look around my office. It smelt of coffee and caramel. My desk was see through glass, I had a view of the city outside my windows. Sun seeps in brightening up the whole room, the lights are barely anything. Everything was right in place on my desk, clock ticked making the silence unforgettable.

The doors to my office open up and I'm quick on opening the booklet a former employee had gave me to look at. Opening to a random page I pretend I'm reading and not notice whoever walked in. That was until my booklet was taken from my sight. I look up and I'm set back a bit as I look at the person up and down.

This man had a slick black suit on, his tie had gold and maroon color swirls on it, his dress pants were nice and clean. His hair caught my attention, a dark blonde color. For a man that works in a business like this where everyone's hair is brown I'm surprised to see blonde. He looks at my booklet and throws it behind him. "Um, I'm sorry sir but I was reading that..." I say looking past him at the booklet on the floor.

"You don't need that. From what I've seen you are ready to start working. I'm choosing you for a project." He says in a low voice. I gulp.

"What project sir?" I question. I didn't know this guy. I just started working here. Was this the answer to my question?

"You are new here and I know you can help me. This project is needed to be taken seriously if not you are fired"-

"Who are you to fire me?!" I exclaim.

"I'm your boss. Another outburst like that I'll have to fire you, got it?" He sneers.

I nod and press my lips together. If this guy was my boss I couldn't talk back to someone higher than me. "We're losing interests on our business. You need to interview a couple people who think they are worthy for this job." The man says.

This isn't really a project. Just bossing me around like what a boss does. I have to get money somehow. "When do I start?" I ask.

"Now. I'll send some people in soon. Be ready. Fail this you are done." The man fixes his tie and walks out of my office.

I sit there, my heart beats quickly and I can't help but smile all over again. Even though he was my boss he was pretty strict on what I had to do and how to do it too. Whatever it takes for money am I right?

I had moved all the way from Daegu to Seoul just to get this job. Last night was when I finally moved into my new apartment, I haven't unpacked yet!

Wait, what do I ask these people?! I start to panic looking around for something that my boss might have given me or dropped. But there was nothing. I'm going to fail!

I cover my face in disappointment. I'm done! So much for my dream job!

I hear the door open to my office. I look between my fingers to see a woman stand there. She had a skirt and a tight white dress-shirt on, her hair pulled back into a ponytail. "The boss wanted me to give you this." She sets down a clipboard on my desk and leaves after.

I grab the clipboard to see what's on there. Questions. So this is what I have to ask.

Are you married? If so how long?

Why do you think you are eligible for this job?

How long did you usually work for your old job?

What was your old job?

These are some stupid questions. I didn't get asked these I was just picked from my college. Just ask the questions and I can go home to a nice comfortable bed, if its there.

My office door opens up, a short man walks in holding onto his tie and I could tell how nervous he was. Not because he was sweating but his voice was shaking tremendously. "H-hello, my name is Xiang-won." he extends his arm over my desk. I stood and shook his hand firmly.

"Please, sit," I motion to the chair in front of my desk.

He sits right away still fumbling with his tie. "I will ask you some questions, please honestly answer them for my sake and yours."

"You must be a professional, do this a lot?" He questions.

I shake my head feeling good. "Its my first day." I begin to read off the questions.

It all goes by so fast. People walk in and out but every other person I got more and more tired. And then it was finally time to go home. I can't believe I'm thinking this but I'm glad to go home.

I quickly walk out of my office, down the hallway and down the glass stairway swirling to the front of the building. My hand on the handle ready to push out I'm stopped by a voice. Mentally groaning I take my hand away and turn to the voice.

On the second level there he stood. My boss. The lady with the very tight ponytail by his side. "Be here by six AM, sharp and not a minute later." He demands.

I gulp once more and nod. "You got it." Slowly reaching for the handle I race outside.

My car just steps away. I pull out my keys and get into my car like I'm getting chased by someone. Turning on my car I register what my boss had said. Six in the morning? You're kidding. I'm aloud to get here at eight in the morning! Bossing me around like I'm some dog. "I'll show him who the dog really is." I huff.

And I have to deal with this guy for a long time.
