“Zeeeeeeeeee…. My favorite! How are you dear? Long time no talk, forgot all about your auntie though you know I love you most.” Aunt Helen goes on talking while she squeezes the life out of me. I look at Adam while she is hugging me and by the looks of his it seems like she said the same to him.

Oh well she is Aunt Helen.

Aunt Helen is someone who is full of life, and she still has that young soul inside of hers, and I absolutely love her. My Aunt and I share a lot in common we are both carefree, sassy, bookworms, and strong… Well I’m not really sure about the last one now. But I really hope that her presence and her spirit will distract me from all that is happening, and her kids are here too so probably I can stop worrying about what is happening and enjoy this vacation.

Last night I decided to ignore what I heard before I drifted to sleep beside Adam, considering I was half asleep and my mind was still clouded with thoughts I can’t organize. Then my cousins appear holding bags and boxes with their father. Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Helen’s husband, is a really nice man he might have a bit of anger issues but in general he is an amazing person and really comfortable to talk with. After I greet him, I move to greet my cousins after they had put their stuff aside. First off Ryan, he is 18 and just like another brother of mine always taking care of me. Then there is Bethany who is my age, she is the sister I never had and I’m hers, and probably the only girl I can stand for more than five hours between all of my cousins. That’s why I’m thankful the other members of the family decided to stay somewhere else. Then finally there is Calum the 8 years old that always act like such a gentleman to people but a complete pain in the butt to family members.

Three hours later, everyone has unpacked and settled down. Mom and her sister are already in an intense gossiping session; Dad and Uncle Jimmy are discussing some political issues that I’ve always found interest in. Adam and Ryan are talking about some game while Beth and I laying on the opposite couches blogging laughing each once and a while about something we see. The life of a teenage fangirl. While we are so Calum enters the room holding something behind his back with a stupid smirk on his face. “Hey Zee will this be your new yearbook photo?” and he bursted into fits of laughter as he showed me what was behind his back and of course it had to be Mary Lee. Ugh why can’t this woman leave me alone? “No little guy that was the original owner of the house and since we rented the house we can’t take away any of her belongings, even if she is dead. I got to admit it IS creepy the resemblance she has with my daughter.” My father said, seriously dad creepy you thought it was ridiculous when I told you and he didn’t even experience what creepy really means. “HA HA HA Zee looks like dead people.” The 8 years old fella said in singsong and while I started chasing him my mom started the story of Mary Lee to the others. I really didn’t want to hear it. Through our chase Calum and I ended up in the garden outside and we both stopped to catch our breath. “It is really sad Zee that past people and preset people had to see your face.” I glare at him and mumble a ‘shut up’ but he just keeps making jokes about my face while I just lay down and suddenly his talking is stopped by gasp. I quickly jump and stand up to see my little cousin on the floor holding his face while he whines and really seems in pain; I rush towards him and help him sit properly. “Oh my god Calum what happened?” “I-I don’t know, I suddenly felt a squeeze on my hand and then I was in the ground.” He speaks and he is already crying. I don’t know what to say after what happened to me I just can’t think of something logical. “It is probably an insect bite or something and you are just weak to handle the pain.” I try to sound normal, he just nods. “Let’s get inside ok?” With another nod from him we join the others inside.

After lunch some were taking naps and others are showering and I was sitting on my bed that I share now with Beth. “Zee can I come in?” That was the voice of Cal but it was so low and vulnerable, it kind of worried me this is not the Cal that always has sarcasm in his voice. I open the door for him and gesture for him to get inside and I can see he is not comfortable. “Ok spill what s wrong C?” I ask immediately. “You won’t believe me but when I fell in the garden, I-I kind of heardsomeonespeaktome.” he said the last part fast but I heard it rather clearly and that made me start to worry as I reluctantly asked him “What did it say?” he was kind of shocked that I was going farther in the situation; but he answered anyways “ It said ‘Don’t dare and repeat those words you blind troll or they’ll be your last.’” Calum was looking at me for a reaction but I couldn’t do anything, what am I supposed to say or do. I just stare back at him with my mouth hung open and no word coming out of it.
