Adjusting

George P.O.V

(3 years later)

"Daki come pway tag wit me." Tanya yelled at Dakota.

"Ok, can Damo come too?" Dakota asked, Tampa nodded.

As they all ran outside screaming I couldn't hep but smile. Ever since Tanya came to the family those 3 have been joined at the hip. And I've been smiling more since the death of my mate.

When Tanya asked me why she doesn't look like us we told her it was because she was adopted. And I gave her the necklace that was with the letter saying it was from her mommy. I haven't shown her the letter though, I think I'll wait to do that.

My thoughts were interrupted by Tanya's screams. I ran out to see what happened when her bones started cracking and shifting. Oh my God! she's having her first shift at 3 years old? She shouldn't shift till she's 13, 10 if your an alpha.

When the screaming subsided a little black wolf with purple paws, ears, eyes and the tip of her tail was all that remained. I gasped in awe of my little girl. A little while later I was able to show her how to shift back. Then I scooped her up in a towel and took her to the bathroom for her bath.

Tanya P.O.V

"Hello child." I heard in my head. I slightly jumped

"Who is this?" I asked.

"I am your wolf Nova." she said in a calm and quiet voice

"Ok we'll I have to take a bath now." I said. With that Nova disappeared from my mind just as Dad put me in the tub

"Start washing I'll be back later to check up on you." my dad said before he left.

I was in the tub for about 10 minutes before the water started bubbling and Nova said "were getting a new friend."

Then my legs fully disappeared and all that was left was a purple tail with black and silver gems.

"Hey party people, my names Violet and congratulations on becoming a mermaid." another voice said. Nova and I just laughed and talked a little bit.

Suddenly I heard the door open and I saw Dakota there starring.

"Cool" was all she said with a thumbs up. I love my sister.
