Yukata POV

I was listening to music while I felt presence inside my room. I took my headphones off and tilted my head. "Gomenasai Yukata, but you didn't answer your door when I knocked so I just barged in." Ruki said. "Oh it's fine Ruki-Senpai." I smiled. "I was wondering are you into books?" He asked and I nodded my head yes. "I am into books, why do you ask?" "Well I have books inside my room if you don't mind me reading one to you." I smiled happily. "I'm honored." I said and stood up from my bed.

Ruki POV

I can't believe I'm lying to her. My heart aches when I did lie about reading her a book. This might be the last smile that I will see when...Stop Ruki, you are better then this. She is just a human and we cannot let our feelings go first. She is just an Eve project remember that. As we walked towards my bedroom I kept glancing at her to see her smiling happily which saddens me to see her smile disappear. As we stopped in front of the door I hesitated on opening it. "Ruki-Senpai? Is everything alright?" She asked sounding concerned. I didn't answer, but my hand was shaking. "Ruki-Senpai?" She asked again pulling me back from reality. "Yeah, I'm fine just spaced out." I said and opened the door. I will regret doing this to her later on. I thought to myself. As we entered the room I closed the door behind us and let her hands go. I quietly walked around her to face her. Her grey eyes shows confusion. "Ruki-Senpai?" She asked. I didn't answer, but just stared at her. "Ruki-senpai where are you?" She asked again. She started to roam her hands around when she reached my way I back away from her hands. "Do not call me Ruki-senpai." I said with venom in my voice. "R-Ruk-" Before she could finished I pinned her against the wall and bit her neck sucking her blood. I backed away shocked from how her blood tasted delicious. "R-Ruki-senpai please don't." She pleaded, but I didn't listen instead I bit her neck again making her whimper in pain. I then felt someone pulled me away from her and I glared to the person. To my surprised it was Yuma. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" He shouted.

I wiped the blood that was dripping from my chin and looked at Yukata to see her unconscious. "I-I couldn't help myself." I mumbled, but he heard it. He growled and carried her bridal style leaving my room. He then stopped. "Don't ever touch her again you monster." He said and left slamming the door shut. I sat on my bed and covered my face using my hands. "What have I done." I said to myself.

I put food down on the table and placed plates. I looked at the ground until I heard footsteps entering the room. I looked up to see Yuma helping Yukata. She has bandaged wrapped around her neck and she wasn't smiling at all like she used too. "Morning Yukata, Yuma." I greeted calmly. "Morning Ruki." Yuma greeted, but Yukata stayed quiet. Yuma pulled the seat and helped her sit down. I sighed and sat down waiting for Kou and Azusa. Once they entered the room we all started to eat and it was an awkward silence. Kou starts to grab a lot of the fried shrimps and Yuma could care less continuing to feed Yukata. "What did we miss?" Kou asked with food in his mouth. "Kou please don't talk with your mouth full." I said. "Why the awkward silence though?" He asked again. "Why...is Eve....not smiling?" Azusa asked. Yuma looks at me, but soon looks at Yukata. "Why does Yukata have a bandage around her and last question why are you so quiet today Yuma?" Kou asked again and again. I swear I would shove a ball down his throat to shut him up. Yuma slammed the spoon to the table angrily and he said. "Why not ask Ruki all those questions. Come one Yukata I don't have the ability to eat." Yukata nodded and stood up. Yuma gives her a piggy back ride and glared at me before leaving the room.

"Is he on his man period?" Kou asked yet again. "Kou please just finish your food and stop asking questions same goes to you Azusa." I said calmly eating, but inside I'm in pain.

Yuma POV

Damn Kou always getting on my nerves. Ruki should know better. He said not to bite her, but he just did it. I put Yukata down on the ground and removed the bandage around her neck. "Let me look at it ok?" She nodded and I slowly tilted her head. The bite that Ruki gave is making her skin turn grey staring from the bite. "What the hell." I said. "What's wrong Yuma-senpai?" She asked. "It's nothing." I said wrapping clean bandage around her neck again. "Do want sugar cubes?" I asked her and she nodded her head. "Open your mouth." She did as I told her to do and I placed a piece of my sugar cube between her soft lips and she ate it. "Arigato." She said without smiling. "Your welcome." I gave her a sad smiled and told her to get some rest.

Ruki POV

I watched Yuma left Yukata's room while I hid. Once he was gone I then walked towards her room to see her asleep facing the wall. I sat down at the edge of her bed and placed my hand on her shoulder. "Why are you so special?" I asked her while she sleeps. I moved my hand away when she turned facing the door. I then saw her skin turning grey from where I bit her. I slowly unwrapped the bandage from her neck trying not to wake her up, but that plan failed. Her eyes shot opened and she then backed away from me. "I promise I won't hurt you." I said pain showing from my voice. "Just let me see." I said. She didn't move and showed me fear. It should satisfy me instead I felt guilt. "Please, Gomenasai from what I did just let me see." She crawled closer to me and hesitated on tilting her head. I continue to unwrapped the bandage and when I was done I was fully shocked. The grey was spreading slowly from her skin. I slowly touched the grey of her skin and she winced in pain. "What happened here?" I asked, but no response. She's giving me the silent treatment which I hated the most, but I deserve it from what I have done to her. "Get some rest." I said and she laid down sleeping peacefully.

I stood up and took my phone to call him. I placed my phone to my ear to hear it ringing. "Yes?" "Karl...we have a bad situation." I said. "What seems to be the problem Ruki?" He asked. I don't know what to say. I sighed fully and said. "I bit her and-" "YOU DID WHAT?!?!" He shouted making me move my phone away from my ear. I placed it back to my ear and shivered in fear. "I didn't know what came over me, but since the other Eve has been taken I have no choice, but to drink from her. The problem is that...her skin is turning grey." "You are in so much trouble, but I can't think of that right now since this is a bigger problem." He said which made me confused. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Is the grey on her skin growing slowly?" He asked. "Yes it is." "Good we have enough time before he appears and take her." "Before who appears?" I asked. "No time for explanations, but I want you all to go to the Sakamaki mansion and live with my sons." His insane that I would live with those brats. "Sir, I would do anything then live with those brats." I said. "To tell you the truth I'm offended by that, but you and your brothers don't have that much power to protect her from him and I suggest you start packing and go to them." This is outrages. "But sir-" "That's an order Ruki. I will explain once you all get there no hurry." I sighed and hanging up. I got out of her room and started to yell. "KOU, AZUSA, YUMA START PACKING NOW!!" I shouted and ran to my room to pack my things. "Who is gonna appear?" I asked myself.
