Bov watched Khad sleep and eventually fell into slumber himself. He tried to stay awake and protector her against the other aura.

Khad felt strange the next morning, something was different. She looked around and had a shock. Right next to her bed was a big man slumbered into her reading chair sleeping awkwardly. She woke up with a startle and looked around her room to find an explanation. Her sudden movements woke Bov up and they made eye contact. He saw how frightened she was and gently said her name. ‘Khadwa it’s ok’. He saw reorganization in her eyes before she said ‘Good morning Bov, sorry…I am not use to people sleeping near me..’ She said sheepishly, as she blushed and turned away.

Bov found himself staring at her; he shook his head and smiled at her before he stood up.

‘Get changed quick we need to make our way soon’ He told her.

Khad suddenly realized what he meant.

‘Bov I am still not going with you, I don’t even know where you are taking me’ honestly she is grateful to him and really enjoyed his company but nothing he said would make her change her mind.

‘Khadwa you have no choice, you have been discovered here and your shield for the sun spirit is weak hence yesterday. Now eat and get ready’ He strolled over to me and lifted my chin to look into my eyes. ‘We are leaving right after you eat Khadwa’. His thumb unintentional stroked her jaw line and as he stood memorized by her mysterious eyes. There was something about this lonely girl that was disturbing his peace.

‘Bov, you’re not explaining anything, you just throw sentences at me, please let’s eat together and talk about this…ok?’ She turned her to remove his hand.

His touch felt strange, soft and refreshing. His eyes were on me as I turned away to start breakfast. I felt him watching me and it also made me feel strange. Maybe it’s the simple fact I have never had anyone look at me never mind with a clear longing emotion. I recognize the emotion because it’s how I use to look at people around me.

‘Ok we’ll eat and talk. I will explain everything I can. You should know there are somethings I can’t explain and only your father can’ Bov said as he tried to look away from her.

Father. There goes that word again. He easily says it like its natural.

I quickly made some breakfast and we sat around my large stone table that dominated my living area. It was once an altar of some sort. It has markings and pictures that spoke of an old religion and a far past.

Bov was keenly observing the markings. I guess it would interest anyone.

After awhile he looked up. ‘There is deep magic enriched in this stone. Do you know how to use it?’ Strange question. I looked at him puzzled and shock my head.

‘Have you ever cried on this table?’ Again another weird question. Is any of this normal? I’ve never known normality.

‘Yes, when I first arrived and my completely loneness donned on me. Why do you ask?’

‘This house does not allow anyone to entre. It has a protective shield around it preventing anyone of seeing it and denying entry to anyone that does but you’ He said as he traced a rune with his middle finger.

‘I guess this place still has some sort of magic left. Over 8 billion human years ago this galaxy was torn to pieces and eventually destroyed. It was once a very powerful and flourishing place. A war broke out and one of the two stars blew up which lead to life eventually dying. The rest of the planets on this galaxy have no life, except Earth. Till this day only a few know that there is a life here’ As he said the last sentence he look up at me and gave me a sad smile.
