Ok, so, I'm big on Drama, and acting... and this is an assignment for my Drama Class. I was supposed to tell a scary story in front of the class. I was either supposed to write one, or recite one from a book or website. I was supposed to use emotions, facial expressions, get really into it, ya know all that stuff. And I did. But I wrote my own story, because I saw an opportunity to get dark. And I like to get dark. So I present to you, my scary story assignment:
James was an average high school boy. He had average grades, an average look, an average everything. His life remained that way... until that one fateful night. He had stayed after school rather late to catch up on some work he had missed. Finally he was done, and heading home. As he was slowly walking along, alone in the quiet dark, he heard a noise. A rather strange one. Almost like a soft whisper... He stopped and looked around.
"Hello?" He called out to the darkness.
...
No response.
He shrugged and walked on. Suddenly, he felt a heavy blow to the back of his head, WHAM!
He fell to the floor, clutched his head, and passed out cold.
...
"James..." A soft voice called out his name. He tried to open his eyes, but they hurt too much. He tried to move, but he couldn't. It was as if... Suddenly he snapped his eyes open. He was blindfolded. He struggled to move, but he could not. His wrists were bound to the chair he was sitting in.
"Oh good!" the strange voice said. "Your up."
Footsteps approached him. He felt a hand on his chin lifting his head up. The hand let go and the blindfolds were ripped off. His eyes opened wide. Standing in front of him, was a girl, about his age. She had on his school's uniform. Her face held beauty, so it seemed she was glowing. Her long purple dyed hair was in pigtails. Her...
He shook his head. He mustn't get caught up in his kidnapper's beauty.
"Who are you?" James asked, fear in his voice.
The girl laughed. "James, deary, I'm your future wife! I've loved for so long now... I finally have the guts now, to tell you everything. And of course..." the girl took a pocket knife from behind her, and opened it up. "You won't tell anyone... right?"
James shook his head.
"Good boy! Now, you know all those murders happening at school?"
James nodded.
"Ha ha! That was all me! It was all for you!"
James was shaking at this point. "Why for me? They weren't gonna hurt me! Every girl I got close to, they were killed! Why?"
The girl laughed again.
"They were in my way. They were trying to take you from me. I wouldn't let that happen to my future husband. So they had to die!"
The girl laughed once more, but she wouldn't stop.
James began to shake ever more violently. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"I still don't understand..." James said.
The girl stopped laughing.
"Oh James, sweetheart... It's because I love you!"
Anger built up inside James.
"You sick psycho!"
The girl tilted her head to left and smiled.
"Actually, I prefer term Yandere."
"Whatever!" James shouted.
"Oh now." the 'Yandere' said threateningly.
"You shouldn't raise your voice at the woman you're going to love."
"As if! I would never fall for a insane psycho like you!"
"Yandere!" The girl's right eye began to twitch.
James shrank back, and took a breath.
"I would never fall for you. I don't love you and I never will. Get that through your twisted mind!"
The girl was silent...
"Well then..." When she finally spoke her voice was no longer happy or cheerful, but angry.
"You can join your friends... in hell!"
The girl grabbed James's chin, and kissed him. She stabbed him in the chest, and withdrew to watch him scream. She leaned back into his face.
"Yuno." she whispered in his ear.
"Remember my name as you drown in your own blood."
She kissed him once more, and watched the light in his eyes fade away.
She stood there for a little while. Then she walked up to a corkboard, and tore off James's picture.
"Now for the next." She said looking at picture of a young boy on the cork-board.
"I'm coming... for YOU!"
