Chapter One
"HELP!" I screamed repeatedly. Hoping that someone would hear me, someone would save me. It was rather stupid. I was all alone in this house. Well except for him. No one would save me. No one could save me. No way out now, he had killed my parents. He had broken into my house. At first I had assumed he was a robber. But when my father got in his was, telling him to leave. Telling him that it wasn't worth it. He murdered him. He murdered my father. I couldn't even scream, or save my father. Because if the intruder knew I was here, he would kill me too. I had to save mum. I couldn't let him take her life too. I was just about to turn and go up to her room when I saw him look in my direction. 'Shit' I thought, but was relieved when he didn't come after me. Quickly, but quietly I made my way up to my mothers room. But when I opened her bedroom door I saw him standing there, knife in hand with blood dripping of the end towards the floor. Then, at the exact moment that I screamed "HELP!", he turned and started coming towards me, knife raised above his head, reming me of one of those scary serial killers in those horror movies. I was running so fast, desperate to get away. Then, I stupidly tripped over the edge of the carpet. This was it, I was going to die tonight. This was where my live would end. When I looked up, there he was, knife raised, ready to kill me. Then in a lightening quick motion, that I barely saw, the knife was coming down, right above my heart....
*Beep, beep, beep* The sound of my alarm causing me to bolt upright out of the nightmare "It wasn't real, it wasn't real" I reassured myself, waiting for my heart beat to slow down. It was alright, everything was going to be fine. Right then, my phone buzzed, causing me to jump. Gosh, I really needed to calm down. Finally, I reached over to my night stand and picked up my phone, it read "One new message; Corey" I opened the message and began smiling straight away "Good morning beautiful. I'll be over in twenty with coffee and movies, we can have a lazy day." I had to be the luckiest girl in the world for having such a great friend!
