Sleep

"Wakey wakey! You've slept a whole ten minutes! Need I remind you what happens when you sleep without my permission? "

I don't know their name.
I can't even remember what they look like.

They tangled their hand in my hair and pulled,forcing me to look up.

They smiled at me. They must've been sickly sadistic. They liked to see me suffer.

"You really are stubborn. Seven days without food or sleep. Yet you still won't give in" they let go of me and purred,like a cat being amused by it's prey.

They kicked a dog bowl towards me,splashing me with it's dirty liquid.

"Drink. I don't want you dead. If I did you would be a decomposing corpse already."

At this point I could see their eyes glowing through the dark. One silver like a blade,one red like blood.

I was losing weight. Along with plenty of blood. My body was badly bruised and broken. I was being starved and deprived of sleep.

But I didn't know why.

Apparently I know something, or someone.

And this person wants to know the secret too.

I sat on my knees in a dark,freezing room. Some kind of thick liquid dropped from the ceiling. My arms were restrained behind my back and connected to some kind of burning metal pipe.

It hurt,but I couldn't scream.

I was too tired. EVERY time I fell asleep I would be woken up by another bone being broken,or another blade made picture being carved into my canvas skin.

Whoever it was called me stubborn. I think I was just stupid.

I looked down at the water bowl. My throat stung and chafed like burning cotton.

But my stomach lurched at the sight of it.

It wasn't water. It was blood. A film like layer of fat covered the top, and clumps of meat sat in the bowl,leaking juices.

Whoever it was laughed at me from across the room.

"What? I never said I'd give you water. Now drink up

Dog."

I woke up in a panic attack.it felt like an earthquake in my head.

I checked my phone.

I'd only slept ten minutes.
