The Moon.

It has these craters that can show imperfection, yet it has this luring figure that shows all of it's perfections.

She was like the moon. She walked across this Earth slowly yet surely. It definitely could attract any man from a distance.

However, she had these facades, these phases that can push anyone or anything of the sort away. That reeled me in deeper. Her confidence, her smile, everything she did showed more perfection. The fact that she had cracks that had shown in her darkest moments made me want to fix her.

She had a power that made me go crazy, a power that pushed the drowning waves away from me. She lifted me higher, taking me to a place that was like heaven. No worries, just her and I. People wouldn't understand what I saw in her bright green eyes, or her broken smile. They don't understand what she is capable of.

She can make me forget about all of the problems in the world, all of the things that I couldn't deal with. She made life bearable.

I was madly in love with her, and she was madly in love with me, but the world wasn't madly in love with us.

And that's why I look at the moon, and then I look at her, wondering how imperfections could be so damn beautiful.
