Lunchtime was about to end when the couple was walking down the school's hallway.

While walking next to his cautious boyfriend, Taehyung has noticed that, since yesterday, his boyfriend has been acting weird. He has noticed him being stiff, always moving his beautiful eyes around the room or the hallway - or wherever they were at the moment in school - as if he was searching for someone all this time.

 

But little did Taehyung know, Jungkook was just anxious to meet a certain someone.

Thus, he started to worry and decided to make his precious boyfriend try to feel better again. "Yah Kookie!" Taehyung suddenly startled the younger as the latter flinched, he just got interrupted of looking around for the empteenth time for today, blinking at Tae with widened eyes.

Taehyung, walking next to him, wrapped his arm around his waist, pulling him closer while smiling at him. Jungkook almost flinched, looking to Tae with his big doe eyes. "You know, I bought two tickets for a movie in the cinema for this weekend... just for us two~"

He whispered next to Jungkook's ear while his smile turned into a smirk, making the younger one flustered and shiver at how deep his voice was. Jungkook blushed, progressing his words as he started to smile sheepishly.

"Wow... I.. I'd gladly go with you, Tae" Jungkook said a bit shyly, and Taehyung smiled widely with a boxy smile.

"It's settled then!" He chirped happily, letting go of his waist, and Jungkook only smiled back nodding, then continued to look around carefully. Taehyung raised his eyebrow slightly, seeing that Jungoook went to grab his hand and squeeze it tightly.

However, Taehyung didn't get the sign of fear, the sign of wanting someone to hold him even closer and protect him. He just smiled softly afterwards, walking to the classroom with him.

Solely minor steps after, he stopped his tracks, together with Kookie, when feeling his phone buzzing and ringing in his pocket. "Oh, wait a sec" he said and reached for his phone, accepting the call without looking.

"Yes?.... .... wha... what...?"

Jungkook stopped looking around when he frowned, looking at Tae curiously. He suddenly worried, seeing how pale he got in a matter of seconds, how widened his eyes were. And as his boyfriend, as well as his best friend, he already sensed what was going on, knowing his story.

"I understand... I-I'll be there as soon as possible... ... yes, yes. See you." he muttered quietly, before hanging up, his head hanging low. Hurting silence filled the corridor, which only them could hear, both males knew exactly what happened.

"Tae..?" Jungkook still asked being concerned, coming closer and resting his hand on Tae's shoulder. The elder looked at him for some seconds before he answered with a saddened, hurt smile.

"I'll have to go, my mother has been brought to the hospital again..."

Jungkook felt his heart sting in pain, knowing he was right from the start. It was about his mother again. His heart started to ache even more, seeing that Taehyung was fighting with his tears.
