It was a cold night of December in Manchester and the alleyway loomed over office worker Thomas Smith. As he walked down there was a slam of a door and the sound of footsteps. Thomas thought it was just another ordinary person walking out and going the same way, nothing to worry about. He was wrong. Thomas had a hessian sack forced over his head which was sealed shut by string. There was only a muffled sound from the hessian which soon ended after a machete was used to hack the head from the neck. The killer was nothing but a fading shadow, fading with the body of his victim. The head was left down the alleyway with nothing but a pool of blood surrounding it.
The next day a trucker was driving down the street of the murder and went to the same alleyway for a smoke when he saw an odd shaped pile of snow on the ground. The trucker grabbed his shovel and dug up the pile. It was the head. He removed the hessian sack and saw the hacked head with blood still dripping from where the neck used to be. The man gawped in horror. "SOMEONE, ANYONE, CALL 999!!!" the trucker shouted. People immedietly went to the trucker an screamed at the horrific sight of the head. A man went to the payphone and called 999 "Hello, Police? Come quickly we have a problem." within an hour the police came with C.S.I. In forensics van. A gust of wind rolled the head towards the moving van which was flattened under the weight of the wheel. The head was crushed as a burst of blood flew out of the top of the head followed by the squished up brain sliding across the surface of the road. C.S.I took samples of blood and the hessian sack was placed carefully in an evidence bag. "I don't think this is a one off kill, I think we have ourselves a serial killer on our hands". The forensic said.
