Sally's POV

She had to get away from radiator springs as fast as she could.

She knew her friends wouldn't let her go.

It wasn't her fault this life wasn't for her.

Sitting and waiting for Lightning McQueen to come home after winning a race wasn't for her.

She wanted to race.

Or at least fulfil a life of her own.

How did she cover this up you may ask.

It may seem dark, yet it was the only thing Sally could do.

She didn't want her friends coming to search for her once she had left.

Suicide.

Suicide was the only way to keep them off her tracks.

She left a note.

To make it seem more believable.

Dear Everyone,

This is it, this is the end.
If anyone sees this letter tell Lightning I loved him and I wished I could find a way to carry on so I could spend more time with him.

~Sally

She had to admit it, the part about Lightning McQueen was fake.

She didn't love Lightning.

She was a lesbian.

Yet she couldn't tell them that.

Sally doesn't like attention.

She remembered when Lightning came out as Bisexual, no one would stop talking about it for ages, she didn't want to same for her.

Yet she didn't put it in her letter.

Keep them believing.

Where was she going?

She didn't know herself.

As far away from radiator Springs as she possibly could.

She had her thumb up.

Waiting to hitchhike.

With anyone.

To anywhere.

A car finally stopped.

"Where ya going?"

This man had a deep voice and she could barely see his face.

"Anywhere"

"Get in the back"

Sally got in the back of the car.

He drove away.

He was going really fast.

She had the right mind to tell him to slow down.

He'd probably get pulled over by the cops if he didn't.

The car was more of a truck.

She was stuck in the back of the truck.

You know, the kinda truck where the back is open.

Her brown hair was flowing with the wind.

She was reluctant that she stuck it in a pony tail this morning.

The sun was going down.

She felt tired, as though she was going to fall asleep any moment now.

But before she could.
