She cried as she swiped the blade across her wrist. Blood dripped down her arm slowly. Everyone told her to be strong, she tried her best but no one understood how she really felt.

I'm Jocelyn, I'm 17 years old. It's summer and in 3 weeks, school starts. But it wont be the same considering the fact that I'm moving to California. It doesn't really matter though because I don't have many friends. Nobody will miss me anyway. They barely know I exist. My parents don't really care about me either, which doesn't bother me because we barely talk to each other. I have a sister but all she does is call me names and judge me, so basically I have no one to talk to, or to rely on.
1 week later
I'm officially moved in to my brand new California home. I can't complain, it's really nice. It has 5 bedrooms and each room has it's own bathroom, a pool, and it's three stories with a movie theater in the basement, and it's on the beach with a perfect view. I could get used to this.
2 weeks later
I groaned as I got out of my warm bed when my alarm clock went off at 7:30. I had an hour to get ready and drive to school, which was 10 minutes away from my house. I went downstairs to eat breakfast and brushed my teeth and hair. I walked to my closet and picked out white short shorts with a pink lacy crop top and pink sandals. I quickly took a shower and put on my clothes. I blow dried my blonde, long, hair and curled it at the bottom. I applied my makeup which was eyeshadow, eyeliner, and some mascara with a little bit of powder and bebe cream. I used some to cover up my scars on my left arm so nobody could notice. I sprayed on some perfume and grabbed my car keys and bag with my iPhone 5s inside. I yelled bye to my parents and sprinted out the door to my car. I got to school soon just as the first bell rung.
When I walked into homeroom, I was handed my schedule. I glanced over it as I sat in the back of the classroom.
1st: Reading
2nd: Art
3rd: Science
4th: Social Studies
Lunch
5th: English
6th: Spanish
7th: Math
"Hey, you have the same schedule as me", said a boy who was looking over my shoulder. I looked up at his face and our eyes locked. We stared at each other and I embraced every detail about him. He had brown short hair. He had brown eyes, just like me. He was wearing a plain red shirt with some tan shorts and nike check socks with Vans that matched his shirt.
Cameron P.O.V
She was absolutely gorgeous as she looked into my eyes. I studied every feature about her. She had brown eyes like mine, but hers were lighter. She had long blonde hair that was curled. She is so skinny and perfect in my eyes. I saw no flaws. "Hi I'm Cameron, Cameron Dallas", I said reaching out my hand. She sat there still staring at me. I waved my hand in front of her face. "Oh sorry", she said. "I'm Jocelyn, Jocelyn Sanders."
1st Period. Jocelyn P.O.V
I sat in the back of the classroom again and yet again Cameron followed me and sat next to me. As more students walked in, one girl caught me attention. As soon as she saw me with Cameron she glared at me and gave me dirty looks and eye rolls. She scanned me, finding all my imperfections. Later on during class I got up to sharpen my pencil. As I walked the girl stuck her foot out and tripped me right in front of the whole class. My face turned red. As I began to get up, she bent down and pushed me to the floor once more holding me down. She said harshly," If you speak to Cameron again, I will ruin you." The bell rang for the next class and she pushed me out of her way and rolled her eyes. I walked to the back of the room to get my books as my eyes began to fill with tears. Cameron still sat in his desk in shock. He looked at me and said," I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Don't listen to Rachel, she's always had a crush on me but I've never liked her back..." I cut him off mid sentence, " I'm fine", I said as I ran out of class. Leaving Cameron behind.
