"Where there is love there is life." -Mahatma Gandhi
Dylan's POV
Paul started talking to a few different girls after he had ended it between him and I. I was to hurt and too in love already to just let him slip away. I pretended to not care and told him we could still be friends and talk and text, but we both new I was jealous and a very bad pretender.
At the time Paul was creating more and more jealousy with me by talking to one of my best friends Casey. He was acting like they had known each other forever, when actually they had only just met a few weeks earlier. It made me angry constantly, especially when she would gloat about how much they talked and how much they liked each other. She had known he was mine only a few days ago and she didn't care that she was rubbing it in my face.
I hide the pain and I tried not to blow up on either of them, but eventually a bomb exploded in me and many hurtful and hateful words spewed out of my mouth. I was now hated by two of my good friends and they had no one else to turn to besides each other. It is like I was setting myself up for a loss as soon as I sent the first message that started this all.
Casey's POV
Paul and I were growing closer and closer and I knew Dylan still had a thing for him that is why I tried so hard to make her jealous. I was going to make Paul see me as something a thousand times better than Dylan would ever be. It was so easy convincing him that Dylan wasn't what he wanted and that I would be such a better girlfriend.
I wanted him from the start. Dylan never noticed but I started to talk to Justin just to get to Paul and the second I got Paul's number the game was on and I was determined to win. Sure there was going to be tough battles between Dylan and I, but it was a fair game for Paul and it seemed as if neither of us were going to give him up.
