"The famous C.E.O called, his best mate responded, what up man?", Nathaniel announced as he entered the office of his bestfriend.

"Mom called", Leo told him.

"Oh good", Nathaniel sound relieved.

"You do know about this", Leo presumed.

"I've had the pleasure of being on Heather's planning committee, so yes I do", Nathaniel explained.

"Of course", Leo whispered to himself.
How can he forget the bond his mother and his bestfriend shared, it was like Nathaniel was born of her own womb.

"Look Leo, Heather just wants you to be happy, man so do I", Nathaniel confessed, trying desperately to reach out to his friend.

"And throwing this little shinday, is suppose to enlighten my happiness", Leo voicedin annoyance.

"Man, it's your birthday coming, your mother only wanted to do something special for you, if you open your eyes you'll see that instead you're out here being spoiled like always", Nathaniel pointed out.

Leo thought about it, he knew his mother all so well, she'd always being dying to play match maker.
Trying to set his up with women that often bore him.

"Alright I'll go, but I won't be alone", Leo confirmed.

Suddenly Nathaniel was surprised, "what do you mean, you won't be alone".

"Meaning I'll have an escort", Leo replied.

"An escort?", Nathaniel curiously asked.

"Yes", Leo answered.

"Who?", Nathaniel queried.

As if on cue, Victoria launch into the now silent room.

She looked back and forth from her boss to his visitor.

"Her", Leo smirked at his friend.

"But she's your secretary, surely you can't be serious", Nathaniel fussed

Leo lower his voice so only the other man in the room could hear, " if I take her, make it look like we're seeing each other, mother would be off my back for a while, which means no random women and she would stop nagging me about settling down",the more Leo thought about it, the more he like the plan.

Nathaniel stood to leave, looking back at the woman then at Leo, "I'll like to see you pull this off".

Walking by Victoria, Nathaniel shook his head.

Victoria shot Leo a puzzled looked.
But the man was calm as a lovely day.
