We almost seemed to connect. We both had a somewhat ruff time with our parents, and our home life wasn't the greatest. One difference was that he lived in a small house, and didn't have as much money. But money doesn't mean anything to me. Like it's just paper to me, well pretty much.
" Hey Jacob, I need to tell you something" he said. " Something that stays between us."
" Yea of course, what is it" I replied
He took about seven seconds to answer. And this look on his face made me anxious to know what he was gonna say.
" I'm gay. Yea, hopefully you'll still want me as your friend" He said with a frown.
" Listen Blake, wanna know something, I'm gay too. Not that anyone knows, but I am. I would always be your friend no matter what."
There was an awkward stretch of silence between us. But then I broke it up.
" When did you first discover?" I asked
" Maybe about three years ago. My mom knew, but my dad still doesn't."
That must suck. I mean neither of my parents know/knew that I was gay. Yay that someone feels me.
