[JUNGKOOK P.O.V]

After sending the email I needed, I finally decided to shut things down and pack up for the night. By the time my job was finished, it was already 12 a.m. I had worked for endless hours to complete those beats for the song I was doing. But extra work had to be added, due to getting other things arranged for the song that I will be working on with this...Jimin guy.

I hope he's nice. That's all I can say. I would hate to have to end up working with an over privelaged asshole. I roll my eyes just thinking about it, slipping my laptop in my messenger bag and slung it on my shoulder.

I sighed out heavily to signify my annoyance and flipped off the light switch in my studio; then proceeded to leave the building. I was the last employee to leave. Mrs. Min had already left an hour earlier.
I guess I stayed here far longer than I actually needed to.... or even intended to.
That's my cue to bounce the hell out of here and finally get a good night's rest. I need it for how much work I was about to be doing tomorrow.
Since I was the last employee out, I made sure to lock up the building nice and tight.

[JIMIN P.O.V]

[Some time around 12am]

It being twelve in the damn morning, I was already in my pajamas and snuggled in bed when I received a ping on my phone. It was sitting on my end table as the ringtone chimed off. I grumbled heavily, lifting a hand to rub my eyes and use my free one to clumsily find the cold metal of my cellular device.
When my fingertips made slight contact with it, I grabbed it up to unlock it, painfully gazing upon the bright screen to see what time it was, wondering who the hell could be messaging me at this ungodly hour.
It wasn't a text message like I was expecting it to be. Surprisingly enough, it was a new email. By someone who I didn't even recognize. It wasn't an agent, or my manager, or a record label. It was some guy by the name of Jungkook.
I blinked a few times in a row, bringing up my phone closer to my face.
"Wait a second..." I squinted.
"Jungkook? That's the name of that guy I am to be working with." I instantly sat up vertically in bed and flipped on my table lamp.
"I need to reply to this email. Otherwise, I won't hear the end of it by my manager." I roll my eyes, just being able to hear his words in my head now.
The email read:

"Hello, Park Jimin. I was told to reach you about a deal that was arranged for us. I have heard of you and listened to some of your music. You are really good. I thought we should talk.
I don't know how much your management has told you, but we are to work on one of my singles off an upcoming album of mine... Make a music video.
I hope you're down for it. I look forward to meeting you in person, and potentially working with me. Sorry it's so late in the night.. early in the morning? Get some rest. We will talk in the a.m.
Best regards,
Jeon Jungkook."

I leaned back against the headboard and mulled over his email in my mind a bit before I spoke.
"Jeon Jungkook, huh? Yeah, I remember Mr. Nie mentioning something about him and about a project. Well, he doesn't sound like a complete asshole. He says my music is good. He is younger than I, too. Guess it's time to teach him the ropes." I grinned, stretching my arms up.
"I suppose this can work out with Mr. Jeon."
I put my phone on silent so it won't disturb me again; and then set it back down on my table once more.
"Time to get some shut eye. I'll reply tomorrow. I'm too lazy to reply now. I'm fucking tired." I let out a huge yawn and turn off my lamp.

"It's way too damn early." I grumble as I slip down under my covers to fall back into a gentle slumber.
Before I knew it, I was out. The night went by fast and the sun was shining right in my face within a few hours.

"There is no rest for the wicked. Money doesn't grow on trees."
