Chapter 7

-The next day-

Chanyeol's POV

When I arrived school, I saw Hyera walking alone and then I told Taeryeon whose walking next to me to go to the class first without me and she did.

I went to Hyera and greeted her "Hi, are you feeling better?"

"O-oh hi, I'm....fine." She responded awkwardly. She kept a distance from me when we were walking to the class. Oh Lord! Did she forget back hugged me yesterday?

When we got into the class, I purposely sat next to her. I'd usually sit next to Taeryeon but this time I can't let this opportunity slip to make moves.

Taeryeon's POV

I saw Chanyeol walking into the class with Hyera and sat next to her. I think it's time for me to play my role as a good cousin to him.

Yeorin always sits next Hyera but too bad that seat is already taken by a boy named Park Chanyeol.

Yeorin walked in the class later and saw her seat was occupied. I waved my hand at her and indicate the empty seat next to me.

Chanyeol looked at me to thank me and I winked at him. Both of us chuckled inaudibly.

Hyera's POV

Why is Chanyeol sitting next to me? How am I supposed to focus in class when my crush sits next to me. I hope my face isn't turning into a tomato.

I saw Yeorin walking into the class with a mixture of confused and mad face. She is probably confused why Chanyeol took her seat and she is probably mad because she might think I had a thing with Chanyeol already but I didn't tell her.

Why did Taeryeon winked at Chanyeol when Yeorin sit next to her? Both Chanyeol & Taeryeon chuckled afterwards. Is she fine with him sitting next to me instead of her? This is so confusing what is going on?

I did back hugged him yesterday because I was scared at that moment but that doesn't mean he can dump Taeryeon already.

-Breaktime-

"Come on, let's go to the cafeteria and eat together." Chanyeol said to me. "I don't feel like eating plus I want to do my homework now." I rejected his offer.

Eat? With Park Chanyeol? That's impossible and it makes no sense. My heart will be beating so fast as if I went running instead of eating.

" Actually, I want to talk to you about something. Can we meet after school?" He asked me. I was screaming inside but I acted cool on the outside and nodded.

-After School-

Chanyeol's POV

"Since everybody has left the class, we should talk here." I said nervously to Hyera

I took her bracelet out of a box and asked "Isn't this bracelet yours?"
"No wonder I couldn't find anywhere. It was you this whole time?! How did you have my bracelet with you?" She asked with confusion.

"How I have it with me is not important now because I'm curious what does the letter "C" on the charm of your bracelet means?" I asked while smirking cutely.

"U-um....Um that is......My favourite letter. Can you give my bracelet back now?!" Hyera demanded. " Is it your favourite letter or the first letter of your secret admire's name?" I chuckled as I asked.

Hyera looked so nervous. I gently pushed her towards the wall and locked my lips with hers. She then pushed me away and said " Why are you treating me this way when you have a girlfriend?" She asked sternly.

"I don't have any." I denied. "Isn't Taeryeon your girlfriend?" She asked while crossing her arms. I started laughing and she looked at me with confusion.

"Now I know why you treated me coldly. I have to tell you this then. Taeryeon is my......cousin not my girlfriend." I told Hyera.

Hyera turned around facing her back to me and covered her face as she was embarrassed. I back hugged her and I put her bracelet on her wrist.

As I back hugged her, I asked "So...Are you not going to tell me about the meaning of this bracelet?" "Fine, I'll admit. You're right, it is actually the letter "C" from your name." She acknowledged. We laughed as I caressed her.

I made her turned around to face me and her eyes look into mine. I asked softly "The misunderstanding is solved so there's no barrier between us two. Now we're good,right?" Hyera nodded coyly and smiled.

I cupped her face with both of my hands and locked my lips with hers again. The kiss lasted about some time and we immediately broke the kiss when Taeryeon entered the class.

"Get a room,please." Taeryeon joked. "Seriously, Taeryeon? Why do you have to enter the class when I'm having my moment with Hyera?" I said while rolling my eyes.

Hyera giggled and buried her face in my chest hiding her face from Taeryeon as she was embarrassed that Taeryeon witness us kissing.
