This is it . No turning back now . How do my parents expect me to win when I am one from the peace dividend. That's just it... they don't. My parents know I will die in this setting. Just one less mouth to feed I guess.
I will miss Zenia , my best friend. She is more like a sister to me.
That is when the other cases walk in.
Caseworker 1 waits until we are in a picture-perfect line to start her announcements of all the volenteers which are called cases.
"Willow, age 17, case 1." .... " Rosen ,age 15, case 2" .... "Xendalia , age 15, case 3" ..."Serenity,age 14, case 4" ... " Hetra, age 18, case 5"...she then names off me(Leven),Trian , Bonnet, and Ellis, and all of the boys , Nonso, Surge, Sheild , Enyan, Nai, and Kingsten, etc.
"Oh and I forgot one girl.." She continues, "Zenia, age 18, case 10"
