Chapter 4

Derek's POV

My sister was my life. Ever since she came into this world I always felt like I had to protect her. After the family fire I thought I lost her. I felt so much grief and guilt until I saw her alive. I never left her out of my sight again. I need to steer clear of my head. As I was walking around the family property I was two teenage boys looking around.

"Hey what are you guys doing! This is private property!" I said angrily.

As they looked at me dumbfounded I stormed off. I guess with the whole full moon comming I guess I've been uptight. I feel like my sister is hiding something from me. Like she wants to do something with out me knowing.

CALIS POV

As I looked around I saw Derek coming up angrily.

Me:Hey is everything ok?

Derek: I don't know you tell me. Your hiding something aren't you.

Me:who told you

Derek:no one. I know when your hiding something. Now tell me,what's up.

Me: I want revenge-

Derek:no it's too big of a Risk! I can't loose you again and I won't let it happen. And even if this whole revenge thing works, there's more then just one argent to kill and they are connected to the cops. Remember we will be their first target because we already have a bad name on us.

Me:yes your right but derek. I lost.....WE lost everything. We lost mom,dad,Laura, and uncle peter is in critical condition and-

I was crying my eyes out now. Derek wrapped his arms around me as I cried to my brother.

Me:I almost lost you. Derek if I had lost-

Derek-shhh. You didn't loose me. I'm still here and I promise nothing will hurt you again.

Just then I felt my shift starting.

Me:derek. ITS HAPPENING.
