I ran and ran towards the unknown.
Something was chasing after me but i didnt dared to look back, as if i would it would be the last thing i see.
Slowly it started to became less trees and soon there werent any.
It was a flat, greenish terrain without any details like grass, flowers or bushes, not even a single tree.
But something still followed me so i didng stopped.
For a splitt of second i wasnt paying attention and as i snapped back i imidiently stopped, frightend.
Just before me the grounded stopped and before me was nothing than endless void.
I blankly stared into it, "i could have died" i whisperd to myself.
Then i realized a thunderlike sound right behind me and frozze.
It came again, almost like it was commanding me to turn around.
Slowly i turned around on my spot, just to face a gigant beast.
It was abot 7 feet high and it looked liked a wolf.
What i noticed was, that it was lightly tranparent and pitch black, almost like it would be made of shadows.
I watched the beast in horror.
It looked like it would jump at me any moment and push me into the void or tearing me apart limp by limp.
Sudently it look softend and it sat down infront of me, like a dog or sonthing.
I was confused, just not long ago it wanted to kill me and now its so calm.
I tiled my head in confusuion and it did the same.
"I dont understand" i mutterd to myself.
The 'wolf' thing probably heard that and jumped up a bit, it started to jump around. Playfully.
It seemed it wanted to play, but why?
Since the war the maschines always tryed to kill people, not entertain them. Tho i didnt fully trusted the thing i ran around a bit and played fetch if we found some sticks.
It was quite fun, i have to admit and we played for what seemed like hours.
Then suddendly, out of nowhere a red blinking appeared. "Low battery, please charge your VR-Gear." Said a female voice, we were sad, we just had so much fun! "I guees we have to continue later, huh?" I asked 'Shads', thats how i named the shadow wolf. It seemed to smile and it waved even goodbye before i left.
I took of my gear and pluged it to the charging station.
The clock said that it was already 8am so i changed and went to sleep smiling. Dreaming about my new best friend 'Shads'
