POKEMON DIAMOND!!!!

Day 1

Hey, Lovelies! Nic here! I'm doing a play through of Pokemon Diamond and I'm writing out the script for y'all! Except! The script is the normal script for the NPC's, but it has my reactions in there as well. I hope you find this comical in some way. Or at least find it interesting. If so, please leave a favorite and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section. Without further ado, let us BEGIN! Cue the game!

Rowan: Hello there! It's so very nice to meet you! Welcome to the world of Pokemon! My name is Rowan. However, everyone just calls me the Pokemon Professor. Before I go any further, is this your first adventure?

Nic: No...

Rowan: If you need advice, I'm certainly capable of giving it.

Nic: No info needed.

Rowan: This world is widely inhabited by creatures known as Pokemon. Here, I have a Pokeball! Touch the button, in the middle of the Pokeball, if you'd please.

*Nic presses the button. A Munchlax appears. She shrugs*

Nic: Cool.

Rowan: We humans live alongside Pokemon as friends. At times we play together, and at other times we work together. Some people use their Pokemon to battle and develop closer bonds with them.

Nic: What about you?

Rowan: What do I do? I conduct research so that we may learn more about Pokemon.

*Munchlax disappears.*

Rowan: Now, why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself? Are you a boy? Or are you a girl?

Nic: ... I'm a girl...

Rowan: All right, so you're a girl?

Nic: Yes...

Rowan: Tell me, what is your name?

Nic: Well, my name is Nicole, but I go by Nic.

Rowan: Your name is Nicole?

Nic: Yes, but I go by Nic, so not really...!

Rowan: Are you a boy? Or are you a girl?

Nic: We just went over this! I'm a girl!

Rowan: All right, so you're a girl?

Nic: YES!

Rowan: Tell me, what is your name?

Nic: Nic!!! My name is Nic!!!

Rowan: Your name is Nic?

Nic: Yes!

Rowan: Okay... So, you're Nic?

Nic: YES!

Rowan: A fine name that is!

*Nic growls*

Rowan: Now, this boy here...

Nic: What boy...?

Rowan: I believe he's your friend.

*Barry appears.*

Nic: Oh, that boy.

Rowan: What might his name be?

Nic: Why are there four choices, and a new name slot... Why isn't it like mine where I just type my name... And his name is Barry...

Rowan: Barry, is it? That's your friend's name?

Nic: You think I don't know my own friend's name? Yes, that's his name!

Rowan: All right, Nic, the time has come.

Nic: For what...?

Rowan: Your very own tale of grand adventure is about to unfold.

Nic: Why did you say it like that...?

Rowan: On your journey, you will meet countless Pokemon and people. I'm sure that along the way you will discover many things, perhaps even something about yourself.

Nic: Are you, like, a psychic type or something? Are you able to tell the future?

Rowan: Now, go on, leap into the world of Pokemon!

Nic: Are you going to answer ANY OF MY QUESTIONS?!?!?!

*Nic shrinks into chibi*

Nic: Oh great... Now I'm tiny...

*Shows TV Screen Broadcast.*

TV: Despite the exploration team's best efforts, however, the rare, oddly colored Pokemon eluded detections. The rumored red GYARADOS failed to appear, even fleetingly, to the crestfallen team...

Nic: WHY IS THIS THE ONLY THING ON TV?!?!?!

*Shows Nic in her room staring at the TV.*

TV: That concludes our special report, "Search for the Red GYARADOS!" Brought to you by Jubilife TV on Nationwide Net! See you next week, at this station, at this channel!

Nic: More like every channel... Stupid breaking news...

*Nic walks down the stairs. She turns and her Mother walks up to her.*

Mom: Nic!

Nic: Yes?

Mom: Barry came calling for you a little while ago. I don't know what it was about, but he said it was an emergency.

Nic: Everything is an emergency with Barry, Mom...

*Nic's mom goes back to watching the TV. Nic walks to the door.*

Mom: Oh, yes! Nic!

*Nic turns to her mom*

Nic: Yes...?

Mom: Don't go into the tall grass. Wild Pokemon might attack you. It would be OK if you had your own Pokemon, but you don't, so...

Nic: Got it...

*Nic looks around her mother and see's a contest on the TV*

Nic: Of course there is something different on now... Right as I'm leaving...

*She turns to the door and leaves. She quietly walks to Barry's house and when she walks up to the door, Barry slams the door open and falls on top of her*

THUDD!!

Barry: ! What was that about?!

Nic: You bumped into me!!!!

Barry: Oh, hey, Nic!
