How we became one.

Me and my husband met in English class in college.

We had to do this assignment in pairs on how we see our future together and we were not allowed to just say nothing we had to put it into a massive story.

The sad thing was I was the one who always sat in the back of the class with her friends hiding away from the crush as I didn't know how to talk to him...until the day our English teacher put us two together and for that assignment I was going to write two copies one for myself to keep and one for him.

- Copy One -

This is how this assignment would affect me and Erwin in the future.

It would all start on the day of how we would share the assignment, he would fall in love with my writing style on  how I always have to make a happy ending for everyone even if it ends up someone dying. He would then smile and ask if we could write together this weekend at starbucks, I would then reply with a smile then a of course. But afterwards I would run to my dorm and scream in my pillow of excitement on him asking me out.

Then it would become the weekend where I meet him in Starbucks ordering my usual drink which is a grande chai latte and he orders a grande coffee. We start to talk on our next assignment which is us two working together to make a love story and he would have the best ideas ever and I just sit there in awe shaking my head. Afterwards he would ask me on another date but this time in a fancy restaurant.

A couple of dates later he then asks me to be his girlfriend of course I would agree with out hesitating. We would have the best chill days ever and some days we would even go outside together if we were not too busy watching anime or busy hiding away from the world. We are in love and happy.

Next, we're still in love and have been for a good 3 years now and still happy. Of course we're still planning our future together for example when we're getting married, what house are we going to live in, how many dogs are we going to have and other animals and of course children.

It's been a couple of months after planning our future and we start moving in to our new house with our puppy Fredo who is a black Labrador. We start to have more and more fights about the colour of our walls and the furniture but at the end we always order food and forgive each other for fighting.

A year after moving into our new house we've left college and got jobs we hardly see each other during the week but always go on dates at the weekend or of course go and see each other's families.

Another year has passed and he asked me to marry him while we're indoors watching Netflix, I say yes and a month later we plan our wedding.

It's been a year and we are now married with a child on the way.

- The End -

I know it was ended quickly but it's for only me to read so might as well not put much effort into it.

- Copy Two -

Erwin and I's future?

How could you possibly ask us a massive task to make two total strangers ask us our point of view on our futures together.

Well you want to know what I think so here you go;

I think after this assignment we are never going to talk again because he's going to hate how I write things and he's going to read this and think this is ridiculous, the class ends he leaves to go separate ways with his friends and I'll go my separate way with my friends and never talk again.

- The End -

It was short because I ran out of time after the first copy since the deadline was due.

- Erwin's POV -

My English assignment is so stupid how the hell am I supposed to know the future I'm going to have with Hanji after this assignment ends. So here is my perspective.

- Erwin's Copy -

It's the start of class and our teacher tell's us to sit beside our partner when we do I give Hanji my sheet of paper and she gives me her's.  While reading she looks bored with mine while her one is really great.

Once we finished we start talking and I ask her to go out to get a drink with me. (Will you?)

Then she rejects me and calls me a creep.

- The End -

-

In class I go inside and sit beside Hanji.

"I'm Erwin." I smile waiting to shake her hand.

"Hanji." She smiles.

"I always love how unique your name is." I smile.

"Thank you." She smiles back.

"You may exchange papers." Our teacher smiles

I read Hanji's and was instantly shocked.

- Hanji's POV -

Erwin's assignment is really short but I would like him to take me out for a drink.

- Erwin's POV -

"So?" I smile

"I like, your's" She smiles. "And of course I'll take you on that drink."

"I thought you might." I laugh a bit "It says in here that I asked you out on  date so I must be doing something right."

"Wait!" She blushes grabbing the piece of paper out of my hands.

She slams her head against the table and groans "I gave you the wrong one."

"I'm guessing that was for your eye's only..."

"Yup." She mutters.

"I'll forget I ever read that! But can I still take you out on that date?"

She then scrapes her head off the table and looks at me.

"You still want that date even though I wrote all of that?" She asks.

"Of course." I smile.

That was a couple of years now and I memorised her entire assignment to make sure over the past years so I could check off what we have done from it but of course there were differences because we are not a perfect couple and we never will be.
