EPILOGUE
---------THIRD PERSON’S POV---------
Marjo had been waiting months for this.
Finally, the National Afterschool Games!
Ever since he won at school, he was showered by praise. There were some haters too, but he didn’t mind them.
Now, he and Sir Rios are in a car on their way to meet the President for legalization of Marjo’s entrance for the National Afterschool Games. Or so he thinks.
Marjo was so excited. Nothing can ruin his happiness right now.
“Freeze!”
Marjo was startled. Police and soldiers suddenly surrounded their car.
“What is going on here?” Sir Rios exclaimed.
Then the driver turned around and removed his hat, “Jesse Rios? You are under arrest for forcing innocent children to kill themselves and for your pedophilic actions under the past few years.”
“Sir what is going on?” Marjo asked the police on the driver seat.
“Kid, you are on your way to a life of sexual hell,” said the police officer. “Jesse here kidnaps children and forces them to become his sex slaves.”
Jesse started to thrash, “How did you know any of this?”
“Let’s just say, a little birdie told us,” said the officer. Then he spoke into his two-way radio, “Take this creep away.”
Then car windows started to break. The car doors opened and the police took Marjo and Jesse away.
Marjo was escorted home by the police and they explained what kind of person Jesse really was. Marjo’s parents were all worry and filled with tears as they listened to the officer tell them what happened. Marjo was transferred to a different school and eventually immigrated to America to finish his studies and became a successful businessman.
On the other hand, Jesse was sent away to prison and was sentenced to death. Before his death hour, he sat alone in his caged little cell and waited.
He heard footsteps walking towards him. He looked up and he smiled with who he saw.
“Steffany. Good to see you again,” he greeted Steffany.
“I’m sorry to see you like this, but you have gone too far,” Steffany said.
The smile suddenly disappeared from Jesse’s face, “You’re the little birdie who told them, weren’t you?”
“Yes, Jesse. I’m the little birdie,” she said. “You know, it killed me every day to keep what you did to me a secret. There were no National Afterschool Games. You just tricked me into killing my friends and becoming one of your little experiments.”
“You won’t get away with this,” Jesse screamed.
Steffany laughed, “Oh my, gosh. I already have. You’re being sentenced to death, remember? Oh and look at this.” She showed Jesse the news paper she was holding. “You’re on the front page, now everyone knows your dirty little secrets.”
Jesse smiled, “You know, you were always one of my favorites.”
“The students’ triumphs certainly showed no mercy on you this time,” Steffany turned around and began walking away then she paused, “Oh, by the way, I think you’re the one who’s a ‘little birdie’,” she held out her pinky and wiggled it. She chuckled, “Bye!”
