Chapter 4:

Gabby pov:

When we arrived to the house it was like Brook just knew we were there because she jumped out her seat and ran into the house. When i finally made it into the house Brook was sitting on my mom lap and was laughing at her so hard. I couldn't help but smile just watching my parents and Brook interact together.

"heyy mom how have you been"

"i've been great baby i'm just happy that you are home and you let us plan Brook's birthday"

"You're welcome mom its not a big deal"

After we finally gotten settled we decided that tonight would be a good chance to go out and have a nice dinner. We all climbed into my mom's car and drove to the best seafood restaurant in town. The Seafood Palace had the best seafood anyone can ask for. When we got there the host kept looking at Brook funny. I know that some of Luke's pack mates work here and in a lot of shops in this town. While she was looking at Brook i pulled Brook behind me to hide her and then the host noticed that i was looking at her and she looked up at me like she had just seen a ghost.

I knew right then and there she was going to mind link Luke and tell him that i am here and the i have a daughter here that looks just like him. It's funny because anyone can tell right then and there that she is his. They look just alike she has his eyes, mouth, hair, eyebrow everything she doesn't look nothing like me .

My mom looked at me and could tell just what i was thinking.

"honey we can go somewhere else if you want."

"no mom its fine he was going to have to find out sooner or later"

The host lead us to our seat and i could feel everyone looking at us and staring. The whole dinner was awkward but we stuck through it for Brook because we knew how much she wanted to be here. When we were leaving the host came and gave me a piece of paper. I already knew who it was from and i just wanted to get Brook home and to bed before anything happened.

After getting home and putting Brook to bed i went into my room and seen that i haven't read his note as soon as i was about to open it my hands to sweaty and my heart was beating out of my chest.

We need to take. Meet me tomorrow at the part at 12. Bring her with you

Luke

I knew this was going to happen when i came him but i didn't really think it would happen this fast. All night i stayed up tossing and turning trying to go to sleep but i was just nervous about what he was going to say tomorrow. I know one thing i am not letting him take my daughter from me.

I woke up the next morning to see Brook sitting on my chest smiling at me. She had really crazy bed hair this was sticking out everywhere. My baby girl looks so much like her dad right now it's not even funny.

"Good morning baby how did you sleep"
" I slept okay I'm just excited to go to the park"

After watching some tv I got up and got us dress. I decided to get breakfast at Mcdonalds on the way to the park. Brook had wanted us to match so we both are wearing tan shirts with some dark blue jeans and out tan UGG boots with out black Colombia jackets.

After eating we arrived to the park a little early so Brook ran off to play. While she was on the swing I felt a presence next to me and when I look Luke was looking at me very mad.

"Well hello"
"Why did you keep her from me"
"Because you had rejected me and I didn't want you to do the same to my daughter"
"I would never reject me child and rejecting you was a mistake and I realized that after you left"

No even paying attention I feel Brook run into me and was looking at Luke

"Hey you look like me are you my uncle"

"I'm a friend of your moms"

"Ohh well hello my name is Brooklyn, but everyone calls me Brook"

"Wow that's a beautiful name"

"Mama can we go get ice cream"

"Sure baby"

We all got up from the table and walked across the street to the ice cream shop. When we got in there Brook ran up to the glass and was looking at the different flavors of ice cream. When i look to my right i see Luke looking at Brook like she was the most precious thing that has every happened to him.

"Oooo mama i want choco brownie extreme"

After telling the worker what flavor she wanted i got strawberry and Luke got the same as Brook and i could tell she was happy to see that he got the same ice cream as her. We went to sit by the window and Brook sat in between me and Luke. While we were eating ice cream Luke would stare at Brook. 

"So Brook how old are you?"

"I'm 4 i will be 5 tomorrow"

"Oh what's your favorite animal"

"Wolfs like my mommy"

"you know about wolves"

"Yes my mommy showed me her wolf and she told me i will be getting mine when i get older and  i will have a mate. Mommy said she had a mate but he didn't want her and that he's my daddy but he hurt mommy so i don't want him to be my daddy"

After Brook said that Luke looked like he was going to cry when she said she didn't want him to be her daddy. I kind of felt bad for him because she doesn't know what is really happening. I felt someone trying to break down my mind block.

"i'm sorry i had hurt you and put you through all that pain"

"We will talk about this later "

When we walked out the ice cream shop i seen someone i thought i would never see again.
