The Jocks

I don't know why I did what I did. I let the boys talk to me. I answered there questions and told them I'd go to there dorm. I told them I'd stay with them. "So what do you wanna do tonight?" I asked James "We could watch a movie?" he said and winked. I cuddled closer to him. "I'll see you at your dorm tonight okay?"

"Where are you going babe?"

"First I'm not your babe and second I'll see you tonight no more questions."

"Fine but your coming tonight right." He asked and I nodded my head 

I walked over to the 'group'. "Hi I'm so sorry!" I said sitting down

"Honestly it's fine" said an Asian girl with rainbow hair!

"So who's who?" I asked

"I'm Ca-" started the the rainbow haired girl before the bell cut her off. I finished my last fry and grabbed my bag. I went into class and realized it was gym. Great! I walked into class picking a seat then being swarmed by the group I put down my bag and realized that there was a horse drawn on the board. Ms. Connie was written on the board. I looked down at my bag and saw a note. I pulled it out and it read "I think you're really cute and I wish you felt the same. Who know's you might but I'm too embarrassed to say anything to your beautiful face" I blushed so bad I guess my teacher noticed and asked if I needed to go to the nurse. I shook my head. "great cause today everyone will be picking a horse." OMG horse riding! My dad took me to his ranch when I was little. I rode on my own when I was 1. Everything was great. I had so many horses. But just like that we sold them all with the ranch. Right after my dad died in an accident. I keep writing in my book every 15 minutes. Every detail. "So you, what colour do you want your riding outfit to be and what kind of horse?" She said pointing at me 

"Teal, white and black and a white and grey shire" 

"Name?"

"Lindsay Burr"

"Have you ridden a horse before if so what age did you start?"

"Yes I have I started when I was 1"

Again everyone in the room starred at me in shock. I looked around the room as she moved to the next person. The jocks were in the room only a few seats away from me. He caught me starring and he winked. Finally she went through everyone in the class and told us to line up at the door. We followed her through the hall's and out the door to see a beautiful stable. We reached the inside and the outfits were marked in front of a change room and horse stall. "I'm gonna call you Misty" I whispered into the horses ear as it nuzzled me. She was huge. She was mostly white with grey legs that faded once it got to the torso. Her hair was pure black even the hair on the back of her hooves. I changed and saddled her. I got on her and lead her to the track. Since I was the first one on there I decided to warm her up by circling the ring. I clicked my tongue and she started to trot, canter and the next thing I knew we doing a full on gallop. She jumped over the fence so I pulled on her reins. "Get back there" I said to her "C'mon Misty don't be stubborn" I mumbled to her. She finally started going back. The teacher called everyone the the ring. She split us up into three groups. Low, medium and high. I was put in high with James and the group. She told us to warm up then go on the trail together. I lead warm up and lead them to the trail. James pulled up beside me. I said staying focused on the track. I started going quicker always checking everyone was following me and able to keep up. There was a huge opening where we got off the horses and tied them to the fence. "We'll be right back" James said grabbing on to my arm I followed him and he looked and me putting his hands on my cheeks. "I don't know what it is but I love you" he said pulling me closer to his face "I guess I kinda love you too" I said blushing. He leaned in and kissed me. His lips on mine. I could feel his tongue trying to explore my mouth but I pushed away. I ran the way we can from tears forming in my eye's. I untied Misty and cantered to the main area. "Ms Connie is it okay if I help with the low or medium group for a little bit?" I asked whipping the tears from my eye's. "Sure sweetie that actually help a lot" I walked over to the low group. They haven't even gotten on yet. Oh boy. "Okay guys why haven't you got on your horses?" I asked hoping it wouldn't be a stupid reason "Well we don't know how" one girl with short ginger hair and emerald green eye's said. "Okay so first put your foot left foot in the left foot holder then swing your leg onto the the side just like this." I said demonstrating. Everyone got on the horses no problem. I then told them to follow me around the loop which they also did fine. I also taught them to turn. I slowly got quicker making the horses behind me quicker. The girl with ginger hair said "Please go Buddy" 

"Just wait"

Buddy started to pee and everyone laughed. We went around a few more times before going back inside. I got off and cleaned Misty before changing into my clothes. I finished my classes and started heading to James' dorm.
