JAMES
Another day in school, specifically World History class. One of the most boring yet interesting classes I have. The class in general is the boring part, but interesting...her...
"Holly" -people in seats around me turn. Including her. I said her name out loud...fuck!!
"Ya??" she questions with a smirk, moving her beautiful, brown hair behind her ear. I don't understand how someone's hair could change color in the sunlight the way hers does...it's an auburn-brown color and it shines...
"okayyyy??" Holly says awkwardly as she turns back around.
Way to go James, you're really good at this huh?? *Class is dismissed.* Halls crowded as always. The only thing you could notice in these freaking hallways is those bright purple flyers for that dance.
"DANCING WONDERLAND"
It's probably gonna be really lame, but I know a lot of people that are going so I guess I'll see. Plus my mom wants me to go, but I don't know why she cares because she isn't even going to be in town that weekend. "Whatever" I mumble as I get on the bus to go home. I'm normally the last one or one of the last few to get off the bus. Today we passed Holly's house, she still has her birthday balloons on her mailbox. Her birthday was last week, she is finally 16.
I come back to reality, realizing that I'm pulling up to my stop, so I gather my things and prepare to get off.
"Mom you're so cringey" I say laughing. She is dancing in the kitchen to rap songs she doesn't even know, and I highly doubt she knows what they're talking about.
Dad is still at work. He is never home, and the only time he has off work is next week-out of town with my mom for like 3 days.
It's just mom and I for dinner but we don't take long eating.I hop in the shower after I finish helping clean up. As I finish up I start thinking about the dance. What if I went, I wonder if it would be fun just hanging out with friends and stuff.
"Eh, maybe". I shrug and wrap a towel around my waist and walk to my room. I throw on some basket-ball shorts and my glasses then jump in bed. I lay there playing on my phone until I fall asleep.
