I wake up to an ear aching alarm "6:00 A.M." Welp, You know what they say, or actually what sponge bob says"Another day another dollar." That episode just happened to be on this morning while i ate breakfast.

The bus was quiet as always, but relaxing. I get to school later than normal, everyone is talking about the dance and a party or something.

We don't do much in Spanish, so everyone either talks or stays on their phone. Holly's group of friends are talking about the dance and about her brothers party. Apparently it's going to be that same night...her brother is throwing it. Alex, her brother, seems like a jerk off to me, he is hust caught up in dumb stuff like girls, money and making everyone like him. Eh, I guess not all guys care about the same stuff.

She is so freaking beautiful, ugh it's crazy...and so hard not to stare. It's like staring at her answers all of my questions...like how it's physically possible to be that attractive. The only thing I look forward to in school or the day is getting food, chilling with friends, seeing Holly and sleeping. But at least it's Friday so I got a couple days off, then the dance will be that next weekend.

One of my kinda-friends yells across the room...

"Hey James, are you going to the dance??"

"I mean, I guess...ya" I shrug.

"Oh cool, you gotta date??" He smirks and winks.

"...No but..." My eyes some how venture off to Holly. She's starring at me with a curious yet worried look. My eyes turn back.

"...I don't know right now dude,you??" I say as if I care.

"Ha, Yea... well im pretty sure at least, I didn't get a 100% answer" He exclaims while giving Holly a look, making it obvious that it's her. She looks down in shame, almost embarrassed.

"Who, Holly??"I say trying not to assume.

"Yea, I snapped her and she left me on read for like 20 minutes then said "sure," I guess."" He bites his tongue with a frustrated look. She looks at me with the corners of her eyes, then looks back down.

An hour in lunch passes, I have Holly's Snap... Maybe i should see if it's true.

YOU: So are you and Adam actually going together??

HollyK: Um... I guess, why??

YOU: Oh, Just wondering

Well i'm back here in world history, listening to kids debating on things they think they know, but it's actually really cringey. Holly seems quiet, I probably should've stayed out of it. But why would someone like her wanna go with someone like Adam?? He's just like her freaking brother... ~sigh~ whatever.

The debate settles down, Probably because class is almost over. Holly is on her phone, Sticking to herself. She seems like she is upset but I don't know why she would be, if she didn't want to go with Adam... Why didn't she just say no. That might not be why, but it's whatever.

~Class Dismissed~ ~Halls crowded with people and fliers~

The bus is somewhat empty, meaning i'll get home a little earlier than usual. There is never many people on Friday's, we pull up to my stop, and i walk home. When i get home i go to my room and toss my bag next to my desk. On my bed there is a tux laid out neatly that reads "Try It." It's in my Moms handwriting so it makes it obvious that it was her. Plus Dad wouldn't have the time for something like this. I make an attempt at putting it on, But i don't remember how to do the tie, so i go look for mom.

I hear laughing, i hear another voice. It's dad. I open her door, and there they are ~talking and laughing~

"Oh you got it!?" Mom says happily.

"Your dad picked it up for the dance." I look at him, He is smiling at me. I smile back.

"Thanks Dad, But why aren't you at work??"

~Their smiles slowly fade~

"well i took a couple hours off to get the suit and to hang out for a little while. And to schedule more stuff for when we leave on the weekend. Are you sure you'll be fine by yourself??"

I laugh, "Yea Dad it's cool."

"Oh and I got a little surprise for you, But i'll show you later."

"Okay, But can one of you guys show me how to tie this??"

We all eat dinner together, but then dad has to go back to work.
