Jungkook POV

I can't believe I broke up with him.

I'm such an idiot. I never realized how fragile he was. I regret everything I said and did to him that night.

I was drunk. I was mad. I wasn't thinking correctly.

I should write a letter to him apologizing, right? I mean, texting him would be easier, but 1.) it's not as romantic and meaningful and 2.) he blocked my number. So a letter it is, I guess.

I got situated at my desk, picked up a piece of paper and a pencil and began writing.

"Dear Jimin,
I'm so sorry. I know that I was in the wrong when I did that to you, and I'm sorry for that. It's ok if you don't believe me, I completely understand why. I'm a jerk, and I acknowledge that. So, again, it's ok if you don't forgive me. I just wanted to write you a letter saying I'm sorry. But, somebody once told me that just saying 'I'm sorry' shows that you can say those words while sounding sincere. That same person also told me that a better apology would be saying 'I'm sorry' and getting them an apology gift to say 'I'm so sorry that I spent my own time and money on you to say it'. So, that's what I've done. Your gift should've arrived with this letter. I love you, Park Jimin, and I am so sorry.

I put down the pencil and read the letter over 20 times. I need it to be perfect. Once I deemed it good enough, I headed out to the mall to get some materials.

I just got back home from the mall with the materials for Jimin's gift and start making it. This is gonna take a while, but if he smiles, then it's all going to be worth it.

Another Time Skip ∘∙

I finally finished making his gifts after 3 hours. Wow.

I put the letter into an envelope, sealed it, put a stamp on it, filled out the information, and set it down.

I then proceeded to put the gift into a box, seal it and tape the envelope onto the box.

Please say that he'll like it.

Jimin POV
The next day

Ding dong!

I rushed downstairs upon hearing the doorbell. I opened it to see the mailman.

"Hello. Are you Park Jimin?"

"Yes I am. How may I help you?"

The mailman just looked down at the ground, picked up a package, bowed, and then left. Weird.

I shut the door and walked into the living room. I sat down in the couch and opened the envelope. I started reading the letter aloud, but only to myself.

"Dear Jimin,
I'm so sorry. I know that I was in the wrong when I did that to you, and I'm sorry for that. It's ok if you don't believe me, I completely understand why. I'm a complete jerk, and I acknowledge that.
